This product is a great purchase. Camera resolution is clear and serves the entire driveway. Easily can see whose coming towards our home.

I purchased three of these spotlight cameras to watch my new robot mower and to act as a deterrent to anyone who might want to steal or damage it. I also own three ring stick up cam‘s which are also battery operated and about eight months old. Ring advertises that the spotlight cams have the same resolution at 1080P but the image on the spotlight camera is completely inferior to the stick up cam’s. The image on the spotlight cameras is at least 50% more blurry in the day and even worse at night. I cannot see across my yard at night like I can with a stick up cam’s and I cannot even see my robot mower if it is more than about 15 feet away. Cannot even make out my own face when walking up to the spotlight camera at night. I am highly disappointed at these cameras coming in at 50% more than the stick up cams. I would rather just use the ring stick up cam’s and separate Motion sensitive lights, except the ring lights don’t use the rechargeable lithium batteries and I’ve already gone through the trouble of having the spotlight cameras mounted outside. So now in addition to having the spotlight cameras mounted around my house, I still have to place to stick up cameras outside on the steps or wherever I can put them just to be able to see what is going on in my yard which is not a big yard. Highly disappointed. Take a look at the photo. The cameras were almost right next to each other. The image on the right of the screen is from the stick up cam and the image on the left is from the spotlight cam. You can see that you cannot even see my robot mower with the spotlight cam.

I’ve tried many of the wireless battery security cameras on the market and these work the best so far. Set up was easy. They have a large field of view. Motion detection works far better than the Arlo cameras I have. Battery life, seems to be great also. Video is clear, and the spotlight adds a nice touch. Speakers on it are pretty loud. You can hear and talk loud and clear on it. I tried the siren once, it was very loud. So far I am happy with my purchase. Only thing I wish you could do, is be able to turn the cameras off when disired. I have one in my backyard and when we are back there I turn off the motion alerts, but the camera still records. I haven’t really noticed a decrease in battery life from it, but it does pick up everything and you have 1000 videos to delete at the end of the day. Other than that, nice overall camera system.

Easy to install and set-up the connectivity. Just an all around well thought out and designed product. I also installed the small Ring solar panel and the battery life is outstanding. Great combo and super clear camera view! Neighbor saw our installation and is getting one.

Everything worked fine until one day I stopped getting notification of motion detection for either camera. Checking both cameras in the app there is a message saying the battery doors are open. For both? So I checked and both battery doors are closed tight. I removed the batteries on both cameras for about 5 minutes, still the same message. I charged the batteries, same issue. Also note that the battery life no longer displays in the app. Now comes the real problem. There is nothing in the help section of the website on this and the phone number for US technical support rings once and says "this number cannot be completed". I really have no choice but to return these at this point. I also purchased the Ring Protect plan, so I suppose I am just out that money at this point... If they have no technical support and have no good options for help on their website, you just have to bank on your stuff working or you are stuck it appears... Thanks Best Buy for having a good return policy!!

Great camera. Easy ton install and add to the app.

Very impressed by the range of space it covers, bought with the solor panel and I have it connected to a tree in my backyard. Don’t have to worry about charging batteries. I have to batteries installed. Will be buying for the fro yard next.

This selection from ring cameras are convenient and powerful, my suggestion would be to get batteries for both slots and you will have worry free protection in any area you choose to survellience.

Don’t waste your time with this so many other security alarms just as good if not better. Plus the cost after free trail not worth it

Battery powered, easy to install. Connects to WiFi from across backyard to router in middle of house, and has great battery life. Love the live option to talk with dogs while away. Covers most of the yard and both gates and back porch.

These cameras are complete junk! App rarely opens,.... it usually just continuously refreshes, or opens to a black screen. Battery life was at 68% after one day, & takes forever to charge, 5, -10 hours. When it records the video, it's usually a few seconds after the motion is triggered, so it rarely shows who tripped the camera, & if you're lucky enough to catch a person on camera, they're too blurry to identify anyway. Pure worthless junk! I'm so mad I wasted my money on this crap!!

Unfortunately we purchased a Ring Door Bell Camera, however, the item didn't fit as a replacement. We bought the Ring camera instead. This item does everything the Door Bell Camera would. works great.
