Great camera and picture overall but downside the battery does drain easily even when you change the settings.

Love this security camera. All I expected as so much more. Great picture. Make sure to purchase extra battery as only 1 comes with it.

Battery dies quickly, but was easy to set up and love the quality otherwise definitely would wire it in next time.

I was blown away with how far the range is for the audio & how bright the light is! The only thing is i wish the battery lasted longer!

The camera itself is great, easy to install and great picture quality (day & night). I will say that when using the app you need to be connected to wifi or have strong cell service as anything short of that will give you issues viewing the live feed. By biggest letdown is the battery. With all the activity on our front porch the battery is dead in about a week and it takes a LONG time to recharge. Highly suggest getting an extra battery and or the solar panel to save yourself the trouble of always having to charge.

I like the camera. The app may be the problem. It confuses animals for people. The battery lasts quite long, even when there's frequent motion. If there is frequent motion you will need to use two batteries. They charge quickly. I wish the app specified which battery is low, left or right. It can be tricky to switch them out because you only see that the battery is low but not which one. They are reliable. The light is intense and sound recording is good. Overall they are good for the price. I would recommend them to a friend.

Overall it is a great camera, I gave it 4 stars only because it does not record 24/7 like Nest. I did have to upgrade my Comcast internet to a higher speed, I also had to change wifi to the Google Mesh, the camera had issues with my Apple Extreme with 2 Apple Extenders, the camera needs a steady signal. The camera also has 2 battery slots, but only comes with one battery, Ring says that is all you need but I complained and they sent me a free 2nd battery, if you are paying $200 you should get 2 batteries, at least while one is charging the camera can still function. I did have an issue when I charged one battery and went to install it, the camera app kept saying battery door open, I had to take the camera off the bracket and take it inside, apparently when it gets cold it needs to warm up, that is what Ring said. I have 2 stick up cams and they are better, Ring said this replaced them. I do like the spotlight function.

Picture is very clear. Had Geek Squad install. Easy to connect to ring app. Only negative is its a bit to easy to take off of base.

bought this spotlight to go with our ring doorbells.... love the light that comes on when someone approaches the front door.... the double batteries insures that we don't have to change out very often and the ability to set the time frame for the light to activate or not is a huge bonus.... also, I really like the fact that I can push a button and set off an alarm through this little spotlight.... easy to install, easy to use,

Probably better with a solar panel or a second battery because it doesn’t catch as much videos I like it would but I can’t reset frequency motion sensor unless I have a battery life to make it less because I’m short and I have to get a ladder out every time I need to change the camera it’s super Duper easy to for thieves to steal. I had to put up 9 feet so that nobody can steal it easily. So make sure you have a ladder and buy the extra accessories.

The Ring Spotlight Cam Wire-free 2-Pack in white is a fantastic security camera system for any home. The cameras are easy to set up and provide excellent video quality, even in low light. I love the spotlight cam. It has a great spotlight that would deter any unwanted guest from stepping on the property and the quality is good. I owned Arlo before investing in the Ring system and I am happy I decided to go to Ring and purchase their products. I have never had any issues, other than having to recharge the batters with how much I come and go from the house. For this reason, I bought a solar panel and extra batteries that I keep charged 24/7 in case.

We love this camera. We placed one in the front and back. The picture quality is amazing. Night mode is good but Not great. The app works really well with the camera and is customizable. Easy to install. Would recommend a second battery if you are placing in a high traffic area. 1 battery last about 1 to 1.5 month in back camera (low traffic) and 1 month in front (high traffic) we put a second battery in front and now it will last as long as the back. Very happy with purchase.

These spotlight cams work great. They are easy to install. Images are fast and clear. Ring.com alerts you online if the batteries are low and need a charge. I installed two batteries in each one and bought a fast charger. The spotlight is very bright and provides good night views. A quality product that's good for security.
