Game changer

I have been needing a light at my back door, but I did not trust the wiring of the old light (installed by my ex-husband 25 years ago). It was so easy to install (once I realized which side was which), and from there, I just strung the electric cord through some rafters and then plugged it in. I am still figuring out some settings, but it is nice to have light and be able to make sure everything is OK.

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.We have Dropcam cameras at our house, but I decided to try Ring's Spotlight for my parents because they need several cameras and the pricing for video hosting for multiple cameras was better with Ring. Video quality seems comparable and so far my only complaint is that there is no privacy mode (with Dropcam, you can set it to not record when you are home). An added bonus, is that the lights are very bright and have greatly reduced bat droppings around their house. Once they install the other cameras, I will update review.
