A flood light would have been overkill and the Ring Spotlight Cam was a perfect solution. Easy to install, it seemed like it took me longer to find the right breaker to open then it did to install the Spotlight Cam. There are lots of similar cams out there but I am very pleased with my decision/purchase.

Worthwhile addition

However I am pleased with motion notifications and daylight video quality

Easy to set up, great viewing range, and works as you would hope! Only negative is that the cord to power it is VERY long and makes it harder to hide if you aren't going 20 ft from the outlet. BUT... the wired camera has better stability than the wireless version.

Quick and Easy as usual.

This compact Ring camera was perfect for my particular use case. Very impressed with the brightness of the LEDs on this thing. I had absolutely no issues setting it up at all.
