These products come with all the stuff you need to mount them. The cord length is very generous, and the product has some heft to it and feels its made of solid quality. The app makes them easy to set up and the inclusion of the light makes it great to keep the "look" around the house clean (opposed to having say an Arlo light AND a ring camera) I don't use these indoors so I'm not concerned about hackers and in terms of helping the police - go for it. Yes you do need to subscribe if you want to save and keep recordings, but in terms of using other brands with ALEXA (alexa show me the driveway) the ring brand responds the fastest. Further, you can continuous view for as long as you want - where others time out. If you have more than one camera, your app home page shows a snip it of each of your camera where it takes a live photo update every few seconds to show you whats happening on one page BUT you cant do live view on several cameras at once on one page. Still love this product though.

I bought this for my girlfriends house. She wanted it to keep an eye on her driveway. We had a electrician run power to it and hook it up. The coverage is awesome!!!! If it makes her feel good, then I feel good. I’m going to get one for my house as soon as I upgrade my electrical in my garage this spring!!

Does a great job monitoring the front of my house. Being that it is on a constant power source i can go back and look at multiple clips through the day or before and after alerts

Got this to add to my other WiFi Ring camera. Highly recommended these cameras so far, only been using them a month now so review may change depending on performance. Easy to set up and use. Love the app and way it works.

The Ring Wired Spotlight cam is a great addition to the ring family. Gives a wide rang of view. Great for areas that have access to an outlet with no need to recharge a battery. Perfect addition for whole home security.

Installed this to view front door/yard activity for security. My yard is fenced/blocked off from street visibility. I wanted to keep a watch on the children while they were playing in the secured area ... making sure they stayed safe. Camera and audio are great.

I have a few ring security cameras around my house and I recommend them to all my neighbors. The video and night vision is clear. The app works great including the notifications sent directly to my phone. Great for any home owner and I feel more secure with them.

Ring products are not just a thing of convenience but a thing of necessity! My wife and I love ring and all their camera products. I would encourage people to spend the extra money for the electrician to do hard wire. Looks clean.

I bought this spotlight cam for my driveway. It was simple to mount but I had to cut the plug off to run the wire through the wall. Once I ran the wire I re-attached the plug and plugged it into the garage ceiling outlet. It works great and was easy to add the device to my Ring network.

I love this camera. It just saved me money from a bad furniture delivery service we had. We were able to send a clip of the damage being done to our property to the furniture store and ended up receiving some credit. Plus the costumer service from Ring is stellar.

Camera works fantastically! I have it paired with chime pro and it works well together. Only downside (it’s my downside) it picks up movement really well, and sometimes I get too many notifications, I have large dogs and I have it set up to only pick up people. I get lots of notifications .

This is the second one I purchased, I installed it out in front of the house above the door and set it to just pickup people activity, it really works great, will not pickup motion if cars go by, I really like that feature because I live on a busy street. Great product, I plan to buy one more.

Bought for our back porch for peace of mind. Super bright light and lots of options...integrates well with other ring products. We now have a garage door bell, front door bell, battery stick up cam in our living room and this one on the back porch.

Bought this to try and catch up visits from our hummingbirds. Works fantastic!!! Took a little bit to get the settings right, but after that, we get a little video every time the hummingbirds come to the feeders. You can’t go wrong with Ring Cameras!!!
