Great picture
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great picture quality. It only took about five minutes to pair it with the ring security system and update my app. I’ve had the original ring doorbell for years, and a picture quality is much better. I like that I am able to turn the light on and off with the app

Everything I was looking for.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Image quality is better than any that I had reviewed. It triggers quickly and I like being able to turn on the light should I want to. I direct wired it into a plug box in my attic. No batteries to deal with. I have had other brands but this camera is overall the best yet.

Very impressive wireless security camera.
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this Ring Spotlight Cam because I already had a Ring Doorbell and wanted to be able to just add it to my already existing account. I have not been disappointed. The camera takes incredibly sharp video The wifi and motion detection on it works great. I highly recommend.

Security with easy setup
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this to cover my driveway where the ring doorbell doesn't reach. Easy setup and uses the same app as doorbell. Just connect to wifi and mount. The led lights are bright and come on with the motion sensor. Quality video feed. Now I know if someone is at the front of the house.

Best camera
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This camera is very easy to set up. The app works perfectly with my phone. Wide range of customized settings within the app to best fit your needs. The camera provides a much better image then my other cameras that claim to be 1080 or HD. This is the best camera I have ever used.

Arlo
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am an arlo owner and decided to give these ring cameras a try. Work great. The light is very bright. Don't like the subscription service but it is not very much money and the playback videos are good quality. Happy with this camera!

Excellent recording
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bright lighting for clear recording when motion is picked up at night. Very easy set up since this is plugged into electric outlet. Connecting device to ring app is also seamless. Great purchase.

No batteries needed !
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got the wired one (with plug) so I wouldnt have to climb the ladder to change batteries. With this one, I had to drill through stucco, a hole large enough to pass the plug through, in order to plug it in. There are videos that show how to open up the cam and remove the plug to pass the small wires through and then rewire, but I was afraid of warranty issues. The spot puts out enough light, bright and wide enough to cover my garage, so didn't need floodlight cam.

This security camera is great
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This Ring Security camera is great. The light comes on at night when there is motion around it. It also can detect regular movement from bugs or birds or anything else compared to an actual human movement. So you wont end up getting false alarms.

Good product, good camera
||Posted . Owned for 11 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Fan of Ring products. They get the job done on a budget and have a long battery life. No complaints. Audio could use some improvement but my main focus is on the visual aspect anyway.

Great addition for home security.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Easy to install and picture quality is very good considering the cost of the product. This is not as necessary as the doorbell camera, but it is very helpful in covering areas surrounding the house that could be burglarized or vandalized.

Great camera and view
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Placed it over the Garage and now we can monitor that and the back yard. Long cord and easy to set up. Had to adjust the field of view as it is so powerful I was getting all the cards driving by also.

Decent camera, easy setup. Motion alerts delayed
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Minus 1 star for random delays on motion alerts, despite the delayed alert when motion is sensed, the cloud recording generally captures whatever event caused the motion, so it's not a communication issue with wifi or the internet. I use Ubiquiti Unify wifi access points, and my upload/download speeds are above the recommended speed by the manufacturer. Wifi signal strength is also very good to each device (appx 80% at minimum). So far I have 3 of these battery cameras, two of which are charged by the accessory solar panel (see separate review), making them virtually maintenance free. One battery only camera has two batteries in it, and I have other spare batteries fully charged, which I will "rotate" when a battery reaches a low level. Camera seems to use the "right side" battery first, then guessing it switches to the "left side" when the other is depleted, but I plan to swap it before that happens. Live view is enabled on all devices and doesn't seem to impact battery life very much. App review: Android app is able to fully report health status, Windows 10 app doesn't report battery status (not sure if it will report low battery or not, haven't encountered any low batteries yet), and the Mac app only reports the battery in the "right" slot, will alert on a low battery if even a fresh battery is in the left slot. Even though the battery spotlight cams have lights and sirens on them, the lights and siren can only be activated from the Android app, Windows and Mac app don't have that option, but do have the option for lights/siren on the "wired" spotlight cam, which is the same as the battery spotlight cam, except it plugs directly into an A/C outlet, and has motion zones that can be customized based on areas the camera is able to see. Android, Windows, and Mac apps all can use two-way talk on either camera type, please note that a microphone is needed on the Windows or Mac. Hope the manufacturer updates the Mac and Windows apps to be consistent with Android. I can't comment on the iOS app since I don't own a device that uses that platform.
