If you are experiencing an issue with your Ring Stick Up Cam Plug-In’s sound quality, we recommend that you check the following:
Bring your Ring Stick Up Cam Plug-In near your router and trigger an event. If the sound improves, you may want to add a wifi extender like the Ring Chime Pro to your setup to improve connectivity. If the sound does not improve, try holding the setup button down for twenty seconds and testing again. Remove the power source from your Ring Stick Up Cam Plug-In for twenty seconds, reinsert it, then test audio again.

We recommend that you mount your Ring Stick Up Cam no higher than 9 feet from the ground for optimal volume performance. You can adjust the speaker volume by following these steps in the Ring app:
Tap on the menu (☰).
Tap Devices.
Select your Ring Security Camera.
Tap on Device Settings.
Tap on General Settings.
Tap on Volume Settings.
Two-Way Talk: Adjust the volume slider for Device Speaker.
