Perfect Outdoor Camera

It has all type of features that you can adjust to where you’re not bothered every moment something passes in front of it. I will add at least one more for the backyard.

If your internet are not fast enough, it takes time to load the video but other than that, it works great for us and help us a lot for not being worried when we’re not home.

It sounds like you are concerned with the need for the Ring Home Plan subscription. The Ring Home Plan provides valuable capabilities, such as accessing paid features and the ability to save, download, and review footage captured by your Ring device. Without a Ring Home Plan, you can still view real-time video for Ring doorbells and cameras and answer doorbell notifications when they happen, but you don’t get video recordings of those events.

Won’t work without a WiFi connection

Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The cameras worked great and would have kept them except for one minor detail, could not access live view with using only a cellular connection away from home. Could only access live view while connected to WiFi. I did call Ring customer service and they wanted me to call Xfinity Mobil and have them increase my upload speed on my cell phone. Well , I wasn’t about to do that because I’ve owned many Arlo, Blink, and Euffy cameras and was aways able to access live view using only a cellular connection with the same carrier and cell phone that I have now and these are the only cameras that I’ve had this issue with. So i told Ring customer service that I could see it if my WiFi upload speed was to slow but I’ve never heard anyone refer to cellular upload speed being to slow, like never ever heard that before, so I ruled that out as a possible problem and told them that unless they had another solution that i would be returning the cameras to Best Buy, which I ended up doing.

Based on your review, it seems that you are having trouble with answering your Ring device from your Ring App. Rapid Ring is a "light" version of the classic Ring app with most of the features stripped out except for the ability to activate a Live View and respond to an event as quickly as possible. By using the Rapid Ring app in conjunction with the original Ring app, you'll be able to answer your notifications as quickly as possible. The Ring Stick Up Cam Plug-In is designed to be a DIY home security solution that can be trusted to provide you with lasting coverage. We can definitely provide you with some information regarding your Ring app concern.
The Ring app puts you in control of your home’s security from your smartphone, tablet, or computer. Now that you've downloaded the app and set up your Ring Stick Up Cam Plug-In, get familiar with the command center for all your Ring products. The Dashboard is the first screen you'll see when you open the Ring app. It has three main sections:
The tiles at the top of the screen which can be moved around and organized using the edit tile.
Images from your security cameras or doorbells, which you can tap to quickly get to "Live View."
Ring announces new device features and app controls in "What's New" section. The menu (≡) is always in the same place in the upper-left corner of the app. Tapping on it will open a side menu and give you access to the rest of the app's functions.

Overall good product

You can control the motion zones; however, it will pick up headlight reflections even though the zone does not cover the street area. Not a show stopper, but does give false movement at times. I would still recommend if you are looking for a good/reliable security camera.

I have not yet installed it, therefore I can’t provide an honest review. I do have the Ring doorbell, and it’s a good product.
