It just keep dropping out of the WiFi of my house several times per day. I also have a Doorbell 2, which has never failed in connecting to the WiFi system. Why are these stick up cameras behaving differently from the Doorbell devices? Even support team could not give me an answer except saying they need more time to research.

While the battery in your Ring Stick Up Cam can go months between recharges with normal use. The more events captured by your Ring Stick Up Cam, the more your battery is used to power the live 1080p HD video stream to your device. Very easy to setup and good image quality

The motion detection was not as good as the ring door bell and the motion detection zones where not available as well. Otherwise simple to fix outdoors and no issues during rain and night.

I also have one in the living room to view activity. It’s such a clear video and wide view. We love them! I can also talk through the camera to calm my dogs down. Looking to purchase more recommended!

It sounds like the device is not functioning as expected in regards to speaker volume. You can adjust the speaker volume on your Ring Stick Up Cam Plug-In to the sound level that’s right for you by following these steps:
Tap on the menu (☰).
Tap Devices.
Select your Ring Security Camera.
Tap on Device Settings.
Tap on General Settings.
Tap on Volume Settings. Two-Way Talk: Adjust the volume slider for Device Speaker.
I would be happy to address your concern regarding the issue that you are experiencing with the motion detection of your Ring Stick Up Cam Plug-In. It is important to ensure that you have the proper motion settings in place for your environment.
Accuracy in motion detection can be improved by enabling Smart Alerts for people only in your Ring app. This will reduce unnecessary alerts, ensuring you only receive the alerts that are important to you.
To enable Smart Alerts:
Tap the menu (≡) on the top left.
Tap Devices.
Tap the device that you want to adjust.
Tap Motion Settings.
Tap Smart Alerts.
Tap Enable Feature.
Tap Continue.
Select the notification options that you want for Person and Other Motion.
You'll see a video camera where you can select or de-select recording and a bell icon to represent alert notifications.
After you've adjusted your settings tap Done.

I have a Nest camera. I did not realize that the Ring camera is motion activated, as the Nest camera is continuous. Since it is motion activated, it misses a lot of things. Also, it would have been easier to put up if the base had been magnified, like the Nest cameras are. It could truly be a "stick up" camera if you could stick it on a piece of metal with a magnetized base instead of having to drill holes.
