They have always been good products but I actually bought this one because the one I had before this just died one day. I literally have no idea when or how. I watched the last video from it and nothing happened to it so just keep in mind.

The Ring Home Plan provides valuable capabilities, such as accessing paid features and the ability to save, download, and review footage captured by your Ring device. Without a Ring Home Plan, you can still view real-time video for Ring doorbells and cameras and answer doorbell notifications when they happen, but you don’t get video recordings of those events.

Has two way communications, the ring app works very smoothly.

However, doesn't work so well facing it out a window at night. Unless there is a light constantly on outside you will not receive a picture, only a black screen. can be concealed inside your house for close monitoring which is helpful as well.

On the generation three the field of view is smaller in the mount is difficult on installation

While we are saddened to read that the Ring Stickup Camera 3rd Generation did not meet your expectations, we are happy to read that the 2nd Generation Stick Up Camera did! You are absolutely correct. The 2nd generation model has a 115 degree horizontal field of view and a 65 degree vertical field of view. The 3rd generation model has a 110 degree horizontal field of view and a 57 degree vertical field of view. It has very good resolution and settings. Only con is the storage. Unless you have your own storage system, you have to pay for cloud storage.

It’s very to operate with little to no worries and the response time on an Alarm is immediate. Therefore you get your monies worth and more.

Works great but if you don't have good internet or others in your home that is a data hound you might have a few problems with delay.
