Love the product.......only improvement I could suggest is a better mounting connection between the bracket and the Ring device!

Installed the unit and it worked perfectly for a week. It quit sensing motion and would not activate live view. I had to completely uninstall the unit and remove all items from the router before it would reboot. Now the picture is pixelated and I cannot get it to show HD. Very disappointed in the available troubleshooting information, all recommendations proved useless. I expected better concerning the price point.

Considering other door bells in the market, this is a very innovative product. It's easy to install but it does have its quirks. There are times the app does not connect and fails to notify you on the app. Also, with motion detection, you're supposed to control the distance of sensitivity but it sends false signals. The cloud based video recording is free for 30 days but just another subscription to pay for even though it's either $3 per month or $30 annual. Something to consider when buying. Overall, I researched other similar products and this brand does come up on top.

Bought this item to put on the door for my patio, that is 6 feet away from my front door, but my router signal wasn't good enough to reach it. Once I buy a wifi signal replicator I will try it again. Also they just release a chime that you can use with this item.

I LOVE this doorbell! It works perfectly. I have mine set to motion with a 5' radius, but a lot of time it picks up motion that is 20' + away. None the less, it works like a charm. There is another version coming out with a better camera that I am considering purchasing. DEFINITELY recommend.!!!

Very easy to install . I had issues with the WiFi and the live view from my phone never worked . I bought the extender and problem solved .

I like the first Ring doorbell so much I bought another for the back door...that should be enough said for a recommendation. My ONLY dislike with Ring is you have to buy their plan after 30days if you want accessible recordings of your events....and you kinda do. Without the recordings, you only get a notice of an event, so unless you are able to answer the ring when it happens, you don't know who was there. The plan isn't very expensive, but I have to point out that products like Arlo's wifi cameras record events for free and you can speak to those on the other end like Ring....it just lacks the doorbell button.

Camera has a nice clean picture and is easy to install. I was a bit skeptical for the price that is has, but the ease of installation and product features is well worth it.

Great device with easy install and perfect compatibility with preexisting wiring. Tracks movement very well and can be sensitive but adjustable.

We have a security alarm system, but no doorbell, so the wireless ring doorbell has given us the capability to know when someone is at our front door when we are in the back or back yard, and also let’s us see who comes to our door when we are home. So far so good.

The camera/bell was easy to set-up and install. Video is clear and sound is good. Chime for doorbell is not very loud, so not great when upstairs or if tv or music is on

Audio and Video allow visibility of entry enabling the avoidance of unwanted peddles and solicitors whether at home or not. With a video record there is increased security.

Excellent video doorbell! Not the best model anymore, but excellent none the less. If you don't need 1080p this is the doorbell to get, and you can save some money too!

A little too sensitive when capturing motion. Get low battery messages even though hard wired. None of the connectivity issues mentioned by other users.

The Ring doorbell is great for always knowing what's happening at your home- whether you're there or not. The intercom component works great, and when paired with a connected hub it works with your other devices as well (such as lights, wifi locks, alarms, etc...).

Great product that was easy to install and use. Only issue is even in the lowest motion rating the wind will set off motion and send notices.

This is such a great invention. It is great for watery and security as you know if someone is lurking around your door or great for answering the door when you not home.

My first unit wouldn't connect to my Wi-Fi so the help desk told me I had to return it bc it was defective. The second one had the same problem but instead of returning it I decided to try plugging it in overnight. That worked so it appears that they've been sitting in inventory for long enough that the batteries are dead when you buy them. After figuring that out, it's been pretty easy. Definitely recommend turning off the movement notifications except when you absolutely need it on.

Easy to install and great quality for the price you pay. We can always keep an eye at our front door.

The color daytime views and night vision works perfectly with crisp clear images/video. I was shopping at the store when my phone vibrated alerting me someone was at the door, I was then able to tell the mail carrier we would pick up the package at the post office
