I couldn't be more pleased with my Ring Video doorbell. My husband removed our old doorbell and wired it right onto the old wiring with no problems whatsoever. The picture is very clear and I haven't noticed any lag time. I can't believe I waited this long to purchase this. It's so convenient. We plan to purchase the security cameras next for the back door and patio.

Easy to install and even easier to operate, excellent view even away from home.

Bought this Ring on sale on Black friday. Works great. clear picture quality. easy setup with app on smartphone. however, the device is quite bulky. the rechargeable battery lasts little over a month before recharging. and the video service, Ring pretty much wants you to subscribe to their video service or else you get no savings of videos of any kind, which is my reason for 3 stars.

i bought and returned ring doorbell. in hindsight, that was a good decision because i like the doorbell 2 a whole lot better than i like the original doorbell. works flawlessly

We love our Ring 2, it's been about 6 months since we purchased. We have the ability to see what's going on, communicate with someone at our door. But it's unfortunately inconsistent. It either picks everyone up, or no one. We have adjusted the settings numerous times and it seems pretty good as of this week. Battery life is excellent. Only need to charge once every 1.5 months or so. Highly recommend the version 3 now.

Use this for our back door where we have most of the people coming to since our garage is in the back. It was easy to install and set up. So far no issues with the software.

I’ve been using this for just over a year. Installation was very straightforward, the app is easy to use, and the device has been solid. I really have no complaints at this price point. I mostly use this to see when packages are delivered to my house, but it’s nice that it captures my entire front yard, driveway, and sidewalk.

Got this for Christmas & really liked it at first, but I paid my $30.00 for a year so I can view my videos & it seemed right after that I started getting a lot of false alarms about motion at my front door. It sort of goes in streaks like one day I got about 20 notices & then went a couple of days without one, have checked & no cars,animals or anything else to trigger it. Other than the false alarms, I really like the quality.

I have been wanting to get a camera system to monitor my house for a while now. So far, the battery life has been great and the clarity is beyond what I expected. After two weeks of use the battery life is down to 80%, which is definitely beyond my expectations. The one downside is the system has a delay when picking up movement, so sometimes I miss the frontside of people who have approached my door. Item would be five stars if this problem did not occur.

the video is incredibly crisp and clear. the "but" is because of a delay before it shows up on mobile device. have been talking with them and the problem seems to be low signal strength. still working on it.

Upgraded from ring 1 best purchase ever Ring 2 1080p Video is so much clearer!!! than the 720p from the first generation Ring. Just an FYI you need fast Internet speed

Overall the Ring doorbell is a good product. Great picture quality during day and night. I like in a 2 story building and the wifi connection was okay most of the time.

Clear video where you can see everyone coming and going. Live chat with someone who rings your doorbell which is nice when you’re not home or your hiding upstairs and don’t want to put on clothes to answer the door. Picked up with a door bell chime as our door bell chime sounded awful. Battery charge lasts at least 3 weeks and can charge fully in a matter of a few hours

We have purchased several security cameras but the Ring Video Doorbell 2 is now my favorite. I will be purchasing the whole alarm system and extra cameras in the near future. The image is clear, sound is clear, battery life lasts forever and charges quick. I would say the battery lasts about 2-3 weeks and we charge it in a couple hours on a Sunday afternoon when we are home.

Ultimately I returned this model for the upgraded Pro version. The battery back-up feature is great, but this does not have the customizable motions settings of the advanced Pro version. Through work I have one of these though that is mounted to a back door, attached by installing batteries in the included mounting bracket and it gives me extra security at a door that does not have a doorbell. Great ability for some unique mounting applications.

A good doorbell... know who is at the door, and can interact from anywhere. It provides both power and battery option - you can choose according to your preference. Easy to install, and provide the cloud storage of video upto 60 days at nominal price , if you choose professional security service. Night vision is not so good, but i hope that will also improve with future releases.

I am a single mother and my house sits on a busy corner. My camera catches everything, and has put a stop to some porch pirates as well. It’s very convenient for me to answer the door for confused delivery, especially since majority of my home is upstairs! Great deal, speedy delivery. When you purchase this be sure to get the app neighbors!

1000% better than my previous wireless bell which would fail often. The setup of the Ring2 was done in less than 10 minutes and install was just as quick and easy.

Just purchased this on Sept. 20, but so far it has been very good. Needed security because had an emergency out of town, and needed to be sure everything was safe.

This ring doorbell is such a great thing to have, I don’t know what took me so long to buy one! Easy to install, the app even offers a video as it takes you through step by step. Once I fully charged the battery, I did the easy installation and was up and running within minutes. The app is easy to use and I’m glad to have this great security tool. I highly recommend this ring doorbell 2.
