    It is very glitchy and I get a black screen alot. I've already exchanged it once because it wasn't picking up motion. My wifi isn't the problem because I have the floodlight and it works perfectly fine and it is further away from router. I also have the Chime Pro and that still didn't fix the problem. I think for the price of this it should be working alot better.

    No connection

    Unfortunately no connection was able to be achieved with the home network which is 5G - I tried multiple times to connect with and without the ring doorbell extender with no luck. A well packaged product looked easy to install I'll recommend this if your NOT using a 5G network - if you are don't waist your time. Product was returned.

    Ok, but has several flaws

    I like having this product and for the price, it is ok, but it has several problems. It keeps going off if it is windy, or almost everytime a car drives by my house about 40 yards away. The app is not very real time and there is often severe lag between when the doorbell is trippef and when i get notifications in the app

    Winter months/update has ruined

    First time using during winter months. When it was cold 20 degrees and below ring does not work. It does not connect to WiFi battery drains or it just freezes. The update has created connection issues often. It says move closer to WiFi ...I can't get my modem any closer unless I put it outside.

    The doorbell is easy to install and convenient to use. However, the battery has to be recharged every 5 days. Very frustrating. Yes, the camera is 50 feet (the instructions state as least 30 feet) from a very busy street, and we have minimized to field of view as low as possible.

    Installed fairly quick and easy. Directions are good and accurate. Once installed the working capability is questionable. I was just recently out of town for a few days and it had a hard time picking up the ring as I had it tested. The picture is good quality. More fine tuning maybe needed on my part?

    Does not work with Google Home

    I bought this for two reasons. 1 being that is wireless and 2 being that works with Google. It down not work Google. I even called Google as they confirmed it. How is this not false advertising when it's posted on the box that they are compatible?

    Replaced my broken Ring Pro with this unit. Better image but very hit and miss as to whether it will show me what's on camera. Upgraded my WiFi so it now has great signal and still crappy WiFi connectivity. Charging the battery is a pain. Would not buy again.

    I upgraded from the first Gen Ring and this one is better on all accounts, when it works. I keep getting blank videos randomly after most alerts. I want to recommend this because I know how good it COULD be, but the bugs are atrocious. The Android app needs some loving too

    I'm not super impressed with my Ring Doorbell. I have a slower internet speed, but was assured by a Ring rep that it's fast enough to support my ring doorbell but the video works probably only 2 out of 10 times. The other 8 it displays green video with garbled audio (or just fails to load completely).

    Failing after one month

    First we were told our problems were because our house is stucco. So ring did send us a doorbell module with antenna. It worked great for a month now the last 2 days it keeps stopping. Their support had been great but the unit keeps failing. Very frustrating for what it costs.

    I purchased the ring wireless for my elderly parents. The do not have smart phones. So I also bought a Google home hub. Well Ring does NOT work with Google Home hub. Very disappointing. Bought a nest ring, and its awesome!

    Video rough, delayed easily 2 or 3 seconds, sound blanks, video freezes &. Subscription to save a video a WEEK- nuts.... you have the market by the tail and a child could make this better!!!

    not worth the delay get a nest hello the motion is slow and no color night vision. the system is huge on your house the size of a big boy pager. it takes a long time to log into camera to see i have 400 mbps download speed and 20 upload

    I wanted this to work but I think because My WiFi is on a higher floor than my front door it didn’t reach. Plus the way my doorbell is situated it didn’t fit right. Unfortunately had to return item.

    Disappointingly slow

    Very disappointed. The app is slow to load. By the time you respond to a ring and get a picture on your phone the person ringing the bell has usually left. Picture quality is great if you want to see who was there.

    Doesn’t connect to other services as promised. The salesman pushed this product over others. When I installed it, it works fine just not connected with other services.

    It takes too long to show the picture from when someone is at the door to when I can open it on my phone. Alert is instantaneous but opening the picture takes up to a full minute or more.

    We have this and Google home. I prefer Google home. We have Samsung phones so I guess I'm used to Google. I guess it everyday just about. Just can't get used to this one...

    Returned this. Got a Ring Pro Instead. This seemed a little on the cheap side, Tacky. The pro has better build quality, and uses a different motion detection system.
