The fact that I am notified if something is near my home or actually at my door gives me a peace of mind. I can just look at my phone to see what/who it may be. Live view and recordings is an added benefit. It gives a very wide view to be able to see a large area as well. Very satisfied with my Ring. They get better with each generation. It also gives you an option to change the cover plate to a different color. Another wonderful bonus! I picked my favorite color (sage-like green).

I did that and when someone comes to the door, it cuts off their head in the video. I should have hung it higher. We drilled holes in the mortar of my bricks, so to move it would leave holes showing.

This device is designed with 1080p HD Video. It's important to be able to clearly see visitors faces, especially at night, so you can identify who may be on your property. Rest assured, we're here to provide you some solutions for this issue and ensure you have crystal clear videos day or night!
Can you confirm the clear film our packaging team uses to protect the lens during has been removed? If your videos have white-washed faces, you may need to adjust the angle of your security camera or doorbell so light doesn't overexpose the images that are being recorded. Each different model of Ring doorbell has a corresponding mounting kit or corner kit to change the angle of the doorbell.
