Many settings to fine tune. Battery lasts 3-4 months. Bought an additional battery to have ready. Images look great during daylight and pretty good at night. Connected to wireless easily and has never had a hiccup yet ! So far we are pleased and are considering another..

This brand is awesome,I choose the brand ring over any other company. The camera is clear. It is very easy to install. The features are amazing. It also the play back feature is great.

I upgraded my ring doorbell 2 to the new ring doorbell 4. The ring doorbell 4 has the same body design as the Ring doorbell 2 , so it was easy to install, I just removed the 4 mounting screws on the ring doorbell 2 and the ring doorbell 4 matched the same alignment mounting holes. Once I hardwired the ring doorbell 4 , I installed the screws and installed the battery. Took maybe 10 minutes . It did take several hours to charge the battery that needs to be used to setup the ring doorbell 4. The new enhanced dual band Wi-Fi made the setup easy. You can see the difference in the video from the ring doorbell 2 , but the pre 4 sec video was not very clear. I finalized my settings after the ring doorbell 4 was installed. Over all I think the upgrade was noticeable. The tool kit was limited to the mounting screws for stucco, brick ,wood and a security screw driver to set the special security screw. You will need a Phillips screwdriver. I was sent a email to order a free cover plate with several color choices to change the silver cover that comes with it after setup was completed.

The Ring Doorbell 4 comes nicely packaged with everything you will need for easy installation. The directions are very straightforward and include step-by-step instructions including a code that you scan to easily add to the Ring app. My home already has a battery Ring security camera and the Doorbell 4 easily added to the app. There is a 30 day free use of the app for video storage and after there is a very small fee to continue video storage which is worth the peace of mind and nominal compared to many other security systems. The main thing that I love about the Ring Doorbell 4 is that you can hardwire into an existing doorbell or you can use the supplied battery for those that do not have a doorbell on your home already. We have a standard Doorbell and chose to hardwire the Ring Doorbell 4. The instructions were detailed and easy to follow with the screws, tools and in about 25 minutes the Ring Doorbell 4 was installed and ready to use. Syncing to the Ring app was easy and the main things I really like are the 1080p HD video, two-way talk, live view, real-time notifications and easy settings on the app allowing you to set various zones that you wish to pick up on your smart phone. I value the safety of my family and my home and with the Ring Doorbell 4 I can connect and customize all of my Ring devices via the Ring app making my family and home safe. Another great feature of the Ring Doorbell 4 is the customizable motion controls, video previews and the fact that the faceplate is sleek and adds a touch of class to my front entrance. I have been so happy with the Ring Doorbell 4 that I plan to purchase more Ring devices to add even more protection for my family and my home.

This ring doorbell is a great improvement from the first Gen we had . The video quality is much clearer and the night time recordings are clearer . A must buy. Easy install as well .

Best ring yet. Color picture day and night. It is hardwired and everytime it goes down to 93% it will charge the battery and have not had an issue with wifi like I did with the previous models. Highly recommend.

I have no clue idea why I waited so long to buy a Ring doorbell. It is extremely easy to set up, use, and the video is clear. This was a great purchase, on sale, and leads me to want to purchase more Ring devices. Pros Easy to install Battery life is solid thus far Clear video Can chat with person Connection to Alexa devices (no need for a door chime in the house with these devices) Cons My only complaint…. Have to install doorbell vertically or you will not like the view on your phone (no settings to change install to horizontal and get the video horizontally).

Old one finally dead after many years and maybe me dropping it Decided to upgrade and do not regret. Took all of sixty seconds to install and another sixty to sync. Only warning I would have would be to make sure you narrow your settings so your battery does not drain. I live in a city setting so the front door is close to the sidewalk and I have a lot of foot traffic.

Great camera and especially the night one. Great quality. Definitely gotten better with newer versions. Had an original one for years but this is fantastic.

Was easy to install and gives me a great picture. I was replacing a Ring 2 that had stopped working. It is a great replacement doorbell.

Fast alerts, clear visual day and night, good sound, easy to mount. We purchased a separate no drill mount and it sticks and stays on very well. The app is awesome and easy to navigate.

Love this security camera. We can see any movement even when we're in another state.

Picture quality is nice. I remove the battery to charge every 2 to 3 months which isn't too bad. The only issue I would complain about is the motion detection. It seems over time the sensitivity isn't decreases. When I first purchased this product it was sending alerts and recording clips frequently of motion in front of the camera. Now it's dwindled. Some times it doesn't pick up the delivery person even if they are in front of the camera
