This product is a hit or miss. Never records the things that are important like someone stealing your package from your porch or hitting your car parked right outside!

Easy to install and setup. I don’t like the subscription fee to store recorded video, should be an option to offload to local storage. Outside of that, I love everything else about it and find it super useful. So many applications for this device be it notification of deliveries, kids coming home from school, strangers hanging around, etc. audio is great too because you can talk to whoever is on your porch whether your home or not. Overall a great product !!!

Ring makes great products. The Ring Video Doorbell was easy to install and set up. It provides high quality images and videos, and is efficient as it relates to battery usage. We bought the Ring Doorbell 4 to replace a Ring Doorbell 2 that had started to malfunction. ONE IMPORTANT comment to buyers who are replacing an older Ring Doorbell 2 and using a solar charger - IT WILL fit and operate. I was told by Ring technical support that I would need to buy a new solar charger (one was not available at the time I purchased the Ring VIdeo Doorbell4)

Love our ring doorbell for ease of use and security. Paired with Ring Chime because our door didn’t have a wired doorbell

Great product but since this is the wireless version you will need a spare battery. The battery holds its charge well (depending on how much videos your camera is set up to record). My camera records constantly so i alternate my battery every month and a half. Video is clear and sound is clear. *you dont need a spare battery but its nice to have one so you dont need to wait for the one to charge. You can just put in the spare and go about your day*

I love my ring, and watch what is going on in and around my home. Will be ordering more for Christmas presents.

Love this little doorbell. Clear picture and loud ring. It also can be controlled by Alexa and detects people and packages. The drawback is the lag time

Love the security this adds to the house. Love being able to modify the area it monitors so I don’t always see my neighbors in their drive way but still anyone who drives by

Overall it is a decent security device WHEN IT WORKS. It has disconnected a handful of times and there was twice I can think of when something was happening outside and it didn't react at all. There is also a delay when notifications came to the phone. We've had a few discolored or glitchy video recordings as well. This was spread out throughout time we've had it, so nothing that made us return it. The good about this is that it was very easy to install. When it works, it just works. Sound quality is great, video is great. Chatting with people through it has been a breeze.

Purchased this for my beach house to add front of the house security monitoring. I already have Ring 2 doorbells on my primary home and I liked the peace of mind and monitoring they provide but the one complaint I ever had was the delay in processing cause it only used 2.4 ghz wifi bands. This newer Ring 4 model offers much better response allowing more near real time performance. Picture quality is great and the added night vision clarity is much appreciated.

After being installed a while ago these video doorbell work great.....Love it can hear voices too and communicate! This is in our Florida home and we live part of the year in Minnesota and I love that I get all the notices and ringing of the outside security camera's around the garage and back of the house too besides the front door. My granddaughter lives there full time and we both get great results so far on all camera's and front door bell 4 on our Cell phones!!

Our very first Ring Doorbell experience has been wonderful thus far! Installation was easy with user friendly instructions walking you through hardwiring with original standard doorbell. The Ring doorbell app easy for those not tech savvy. The ease of use and camera activity exceptional for first time Ring owners. Excellent picture quality and “pre-roll” an added bonus. No regrets on this Best Buy purchase!

This one works better then my old one. I have had the old one for over 4 years and the face started to fall apart so I needed a new one.
