Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Love, love Love Love Love our Ring Elite... we got this for the sole purpose to hardwire to the internet.. we simply but a google mesh puck under our stairs then ran the line up the wall to the door bell and walla instant power as well as never failing connection to the interwebs! FYI if you are doing this don't try using flat cat 6 cable like me cat 6 does not work with ring lol use cat 5 and you will be A OK
