I heard about ring devices for a while but I never invested in them. Decided to finally take advantage of one the previous sales Best Buy was having on this model and I don’t regret it one bit. It does have some issues with connecting to WiFi at times and the hardware does seem a bit outdated but it gets the job done. Also mounts perfectly with a third party mount from Amazon.
