    Decent night view, decent camera during day, good app, can't see below knees when someone stands right in front, so you can't see the front steps of where it's mounted.

We are here to provide you with some information to resolve the issue you mentioned in your review.

      It sounds like the device is not performing as expected. If you're installing a Video Doorbell on a house where the door is at the top of a set of stairs, you can use a Ring Wedge Kit to properly position the device. If your door is above ground level with stairs leading up to it, this can cause your Ring Video Doorbell to miss visitors walking up your stairs. It can also cause you to get motion alerts from passing traffic.

    The doorbell was installed by the contractor building my house. He brought the wrong transformer with him, so the installation took a little longer than it should. Since I wasn't doing the installation, I opted for the wired model instead of the battery-powered model. I love the doorbell because my home is in the country, and my work is in town.
