Its way smaller in size and still easy to install and setup. Works like a charm, added one more to my Door Bell near the Garage. Also you can setup auto recording if it detects motion in one of the Doorbell which i thought was a cool feature from Ring. I need Amazon to merge Ring and Blink into one app, that's the only issue i have right now.

Ordered this for my daughter and in just a few short days it had came to my door already. Installing this product was very simple as well. I believe we had it installed within 5 minutes. The picture on the camera is better and more clear than I thought it would be. I definitely would recommend this product to anyone and for the price you cannot go wrong with this purchase.

Love the Ring doorbell! A lot better choice over ADT and other brands. Camera is made very well and the video is crystal clear. It was easy to install and the plans are cheap.

Bought this about a month ago. It was easy to install and it works.

Had the peephole prior to this purchase. Reason had to place with this one is i moved to a place where the home did not have a peephole so i needed this as a replacement. The camera quality is worse and the peephole which i dont get since supposedly they are both 1080P. But i will say the peephole is 3x more the price so maybe something im not aware of is different. The installation was easy and the setup via app thankfully is seamless. Be wary that you have to upgrade your ring subscription if having more than 1 camera. Even if not using the others currently connected. This was a great budget option but next time would spend a few more bucks foe the better version. Untill this one break will continue using it.

After tiring of removing my older Ring WiFi Video Doorbell (which had contact plate which connected power to the unit) because the battery would no longer a charge, I pursued an upgrade to the Ring WiFi Video Doorbell - Wired - Black. Great product, and I should have installed this unit in the first place. Easy to install and connect to my WiFi. Great imagery and range of features. If you're tired of disconnecting the unit to recharge it, ditch the battery for wired. Sure, it power goes out, your WiFi will be gone too, so what's the point of a battery-powered unit?

this was a gift for someone who did not want a wired doorbell because they live in a rental house so it had to be returned to best buy. Personally, I own my home and have owned a Ring wired doorbell for several years and I am very happy with it.

I'm definitely enjoying my new ring doorbell! My old one went out, so I wanted to get a new one. This was one of the most affordable if not the most affordable Ring doorbell. I like the sleek, black look. The doorbell works great! It's hardwired which I like so I don't have to worry about batteries. You get a free trial with the purchase, which is cool! The subscription plans also seem affordable. The doorbell works well and I feel like it helps my home be safer.

By now, practically everyone has some type camera security. This one does not disappoint, you will know every time someone steps in the area of your ring camera (one very minor complaint, it is a about 5-10 second delay before it rings) the picture/sound quality is great! In my opinion, you will not be disappointed with this choice/model. **This one is an upgrade from my previous model**

I live in a town home on a tight block. For some reason my door bell wiring was placed behind the pillar at the front of my house. So my door bell's view is obstructed. However once I installed this camera I was impress with the view. Even with the obstruction I can clearly see the entire front of my house. Also the installation for this was very easy. If you find yourself lost just go on Youtube there are tons of videos to help.

Easy to install, easy to set up. What can I say, it’s easy! Video is clear and the sound as well. Like that you can select the area you want for the motion. Gives a little peace of mind.
