Really love and like this for benefit need purposes

This was a great buy. I was indeed skeptical at first. A lot of reviews will deter you from purchasing, but go with your gut. If isn’t to your liking, then return. I think you will be satisfied.

First off this isn’t the review of the app or quality of video. The ring is as good as your placement and app dev and usage will depend on your discoverability. The Installation was somewhat interesting. Challenging but not impossible. This was the unit which is rigged to your existing doorbell. I’m glad I don’t have to keep charging the battery. You loose your traditional doorbell and they give you a wireless satellite speaker that mirrors activity in the app for the people inside the house like motion detected vs actual doorbell press. Works well and I highly recommend it.

I never thought I wanted or need a video doorbell until I brought it home.Installation was easy since the were existing wires from the previous old doorbell. We get peace of mind from the app notifications when we are home or away.Video is crystal clear in daylight and legible at night.Our wifi garage door seamlessly connected with the ring app.My only gripe about the product was the included instructions that applied to multiple models of the doorbell and not specific to the one in the box. Also extra parts were included that did not apply to my particular installation.

Works good, haven’t had any issues. Picks up motion nicely and always alerts quickly.

Best home security step I've taken. Peace of mind every time the phone app sends me an alert. This is the hardwire version which is a smaller design, no batteries and less expensive. You can't lose unless your home is so new that there is no hard wires running to your legacy doorbell.

The price is good but the video is almost useless. You can see in my pictures, the day time and night time and my face isn’t even recognizable.

This doorbell gets its power from the existing wiring. The instructions are good and there are some videos on how to do it on the RING web site. It is very easy to do with the given instructions. I also got 3 indoor cameras to cover my entire house. The RING app and instructions are good and it performs as advertised. The indoor cameras will detect movement and record through glass, so there is currently no need for me to install any outside cameras or accessories. Previously I had WANSCAM cameras, but that went down the tubes when I had to upgrade to Windows 10. Those old cameras were about $50 each, software not as good, support poor and resolution not as good. RING is an upgrade in every respect. For 10$/month I can upload vids to their cloud service. I also got a RING user AND veteran discount when I bought my indoor cameras which really helped out. What got me going on RING was that I needed a new doorbell and the cost of the RING door bell and wireless chime was $86 to my door step compared to a dumb push button along with another set of chimes which would cost~$20 for a button and ~$50 for the chimes +sales tax = $75. For an extra $11 I got the RING doorbell and wireless chime with all the recording and flexibility in answering. Ring gives you 30 days free of their $10/month plan so you can try it out. That and the discounts made me get the other 3 cameras. If I had strung out the installation of the cameras by 30 days each, I could of stretched the free plan out to 4 months and saved another $40. Since I figured that last bit out AFTER installing the other 3 cameras, I just put it out there for others. I am very happy with purchases so far and feel that when it comes time to replace/upgrade RING will be there. I am figuring technology advancements are comparable to cell phones.

I finally decided to discontinue my Richmond Alarm Service and replace it with IOT devices. I ordered the Ring door bell from Best-Buy online because it was offered at a lower price than Amazon. The device was ready for pickup in 1 hour. I purchased the wired Ring doorbell and replaced my existing door bell. Installation and set up was very easy. Very happy with purchase, FYI - If you have cats don't choose the barking dogs chime on motion detection. Scared the crap out of our cats.

Love it but took it back, didn't even hook it up. Because I found my original one. Why buy something new when the other one? Aint broken. Is a good wise man. Don't fix it if it ain't broken.In other words, don't buy it.If you already have one but I can't say I do love my ring.I don't know how anyone goes on in life without one

I bought the wired Ring Camera from Best Buy and I’m very happy with it. The setup was simple, and since it’s wired, I never have to worry about charging batteries. The video quality is excellent, even at night, and the motion detection works really well. I love being able to check live footage from my phone anytime. It gives me a lot of peace of mind knowing my home is protected. Definitely a great purchase and worth every penny!

This Ring doorbell is exactly what I need to see who is entering my home at the front door. The video quality is clear, and I really like the functionality of the app—it’s easy to use and reliable. The additional chime that plugs into an outlet in the back of the house is a great feature, especially when my phone isn’t nearby. Overall, I’m very happy with this product and would definitely recommend it to others.

Ring wired doorbell works once you verifique that your doorbell transformer provides more than 15 VAC to the Ring doorbell and do not believe the 8 VAC lower requirement. In my case I had originally 11 VAC and the Ring doorbell will never go into the configuration stage. Also make sure that you purchase the combo doorbell and chime package as this doorbell is not compatible with the original chime in your home. Last in order to save videos and reviewed them later you need to pay $4.99 a month for the cheapest subscription since the doorbell doesn’t have any local storage and needs to store the videos in the Ring cloud.

We replaced a Ring doorbell that we owned for approximately 10 years. I can't express enough how these products have been solid for our use. The replacement we purchased was several iterations out from our original. Always easy to install and set up, we're completely satisfied.
