Ring wired doorbell works once you verifique that your doorbell transformer provides more than 15 VAC to the Ring doorbell and do not believe the 8 VAC lower requirement. In my case I had originally 11 VAC and the Ring doorbell will never go into the configuration stage. Also make sure that you purchase the combo doorbell and chime package as this doorbell is not compatible with the original chime in your home. Last in order to save videos and reviewed them later you need to pay $4.99 a month for the cheapest subscription since the doorbell doesn’t have any local storage and needs to store the videos in the Ring cloud.

We replaced a Ring doorbell that we owned for approximately 10 years. I can't express enough how these products have been solid for our use. The replacement we purchased was several iterations out from our original. Always easy to install and set up, we're completely satisfied.

Very pleased works great. Works much than the google/Nest door bell I had that dropped video all the time. Also much easier to set up than google.

Well, yesterday I finally took it out of the box and decided to install it myself... boy was it ever easy to do! It took me almost a month to do it... Just follow the instructions and it does just what it tells you to do to get it right... I really love this door bell, the video is extremely sharp and clear both day and night, the chime is really fun too... and the variety of sounds you have to choose from is fantastic. Now I haven't tried to use the voice yet but I am real sure that it is clear and easy to use, anyway if you want a video door bell get this RING door bell, OH, it uses you old wires and you don't have too worry about battery changing.

This doorbell is easy to install if you are replacing a non-video wired doorbell. The camera displays a clear picture of the area outside of your home. My only complaint is the nuisance notifications on windy days, but you can silence those notifications through the app.

Bought this my mother. Ring devices are pretty solid. Installed a while now and have not had any issues. Works as advertised.

This replaced our batter operated one at our old house, we didn't want to deal with recharging the battery at the new house. Really easy to set up to your current doorbell. Excellent all around and would always recommend.

This doorbell camera surprisingly has a wider field of view than my outdoor mounted security cameras, it’s great to get notifications to my phone when someone approaches my home regardless of whether I’m home or not, the app also has a variety of preset greetings/announcements as well as the ability to speak directly over camera, saves recordings to view when desired, when I’m away I occasionally turn on live view just to check up on what’s going on out front my home, to many cool features to mention, my first time owning a doorbell camera but definitely impressed.

It works really well and is compatible with my iPods. As soon as someone comes to my door and I’m away from home, I get the alert. The picture is clear. The audio is clear as I’m also able to talk to the person at the door.

quite good overall, just wish that ring would put a thick rubber gasket around the edge of the camera so that it looks cleaner on uneven surfaces like stucco, other than that it does it's job really well. An absolutely underrated feature of owning a Ring product is the app and specifically the "Neighbors" feature being able to get updates from other people in the area that have a ring product is super helpful to keep up-to-date on local events and emergencies.

Perfect quality in a necessity nowadays. You can set the sensor distance so I can alert you if somebody is near your door or approaching.

This doorbell is a great addition to any home. The setup was quick and easy, and the app works smoothly, making it simple to monitor activity. It’s especially nice to see who’s at the door when you're away, and the range of view is pretty great. The included chime is loud and clear, and overall, it’s a reliable, user-friendly smart doorbell.
