Rise of the Ronin has decent gameplay, but it lacks depth and polish.

The only thing really good about this game is the graphics and the effects.. The Combat is Boring the controls suck the forced lock on system sucks. Its basically Linear Combat in a Ghost of Tsushima World.. Lock on Do a timed Counter an hit them until they gone Rinse and Repeat.. Triangle for most moves. Counter an Block are 2 separate Buttons(witch make No sence). It had a chance to be a good game. But the Combat is to Boring and to Linear. Even with the different stances. Not a Fan

Low rent Ghost of Tsushima, not worth the the price tag.

Its a cool game but it gets frustrating in combat and the life of your characters need to be longer .

Contols are different from most other 3rd person RPG games, didnt play it for more then 20 min before i gave up, even aftrr adjusting the settings

Game sucks, ps3 graphics, should not have paid 70$ for this, dont compare this to ghost of tushima, graphics are the worst part about this game.

Very repetitive. Gameplay is subpar. If you were looking for the next best Samarai game, this isn't it.

Not a great game. Returned it. I recommend Ghost of Tsushima if you want a good Japanese style game.

Everyone will have their own opinion. As for me, this is a good not great game. The graphics are outdated and story is uninspiring. To me the combat is challenging but clunky, cheesy and not realistic. We all want a challenge however I have encountered bosses that are very difficult even on the easiest mode. Overall, this game has many flaws and I regret paying full price for it. I only recommend it when it goes on sale. Ghost of Tsushima blows this game out of the water, no comparison, not even close.
