I was a big fan of the rebooted Tomb Raider that came out a few years ago (and the definitive edition that released for PS4). So after hearing that they were not releasing Rise of the Tomb Raider for PS4 until a year after the Xbone launch, was met with a lot of lashback from the community. But you know what, I'm glad they did because the 20th anniversary edition of Rise of the Tomb Raider for PS4 is the definitive edition! Comes with all the DLC and extra two modes (coop and zombies) and a VR mode (takes place in Lara's mansion) for those that bought a PSVR. The graphics and gameplay are top notch, and the story is excellent. I highly recommend this to anyone that loves Uncharted and the rebooted Tomb Raider.

I like this game better than the first one, Its a pretty good story but the gameplay is where it really shines. It was so much fun exploring and discovering secrets and you could fast travel back to previous locations once you unlocked other abilities. Must buy

The Tomb Raider reboot last generation was a great game, but felt derivative of the Uncharted series (without the humor)--despite Uncharted itself being inspired partly by the original TR series. Rise of the Tomb Raider does better in standing on its own feet and, while it still takes itself a little too seriously, makes for a super fun experience. I find myself having a blast with the gunplay and retreading old areas to find every artifact, document, and coin cache I can. The story is fairly well told, though the developers have nothing on the chops of Naughty Dog as far as writing and dialogue goes. It may seem like I'm nitpicking, because I kind of am. Overall it's a great game, worth the asking price (especially considering all the extra content and great packaging included for PS4 owners...the digibook 20 year anniversary package is very good.) Enjoyed it a lot so far.

I've been playing Tomb Raider for 20 years and have been gaming for 25. This franchise has always been special to me, but this particular release is now my all time favorite game - of any franchise, on any platform. If you're an Uncharted fan, then this game is doubly recommended for you.

The reboot of the original series is working out thus far, controls are solid, graphics are crisp and the story is motivating. This entry adds some nice new features as well as all the previously released add-ons from when it was released last year.

Great product condition. More of a platformer like the previous game, but there are a lot of clipping and video stuttering issues as I continue to play the game. Overall great gameplay and the puzzles are fair to moderately tough without using Survival Instincts every time. I'm enjoying it and am about 15 hours in. Lots of replay value for trophy hunters!

Even though this Lara is different from the old ones, it matches for this generation in terms of action, story, graphics, and sound. I like it how it still has the puzzles and tombs from the original along with new mechanics..

If you loved the remastered original for PS4 or enjoyed any of the Uncharted games, you’ve got to get this game. Game play is the same type as these and so much fun. It’s almost sad to be finished with the game, though one can always go back and look for any missing artifacts. A joy to play and I highly recommend this game.

If you like Uncharted, pick up this one. This game has cinematic graphics,a solid story and plenty of shooting action. The only odd thing is that the most challenging type of boss fight isn't the last fight.
