If you played the 2013 Tomb Raider and liked it, you will love this one even more. I just recently finished the game, it's so engaging you even want to go back and find all the relics and side missions you missed. Buy this if your a Tomb raider fan, and sick of games that only give you 8 hours of playtime.

The Tomb Raider reboot from 2013 was way better than it had any right to be. This game keeps a lot of the same gameplay strengths, but loses quite a bit of what made the previous game so special. Plot and characters are both considerably weaker, and Lara's characterization in particular has taken a dive. It's still fun, and mostly worth playing, but it's a disappointing sign of what is probably to come with the rebooted series: a return to the same nonsense that led the franchise to the brink of irrelevance.

The developers have done the impossible with Rise of the Tomb Raider by crafting a sequel that is superior to the reboot in every way possible. It is a bigger, more expansive experience that has a captivating narrative, engrossing gameplay and an absolutely stunning presentation.

In "Rise of the Tomb Raider", Lara embarks on an even more ambitious adventure. The cinematic cut scenes are gorgeous as is the game itself. It takes what makes the previous game amazing and expands on it to even greater heights. By far one of the most exciting games you can play and highly recommended!

I am loving this game! It is so much fun to play! It is a rather thorough and modern version of previous Tomb Raider games! If you liked the previous game, then you'll absolutely ADORE this one! This game continues to grow and grow on me. Be prepared to fight packs of wolves and several bears!!!! Enjoy,

Rise of the Tomb Raider is probably my favorite game I have played this holiday season, and that's saying a lot as I have pretty much played every major release over the past year. It is a great sense of adventure and the action in the game is top notch. Once again, this is a highly recommended title...

I've been a fan of the franchise since it's inception. The consoles have grown, and so has the game. There is so much to explore and do you can easily lose track of time. The game design is beautiful, the sounds are amazing, and the overall play feels great. A must have for any gaming collection!

I was very happy with this purchase after playing for a good amount of time. The plot is neat, the action is top notch, and the weaponry you get to use during the missions is creative. Square Enix continues to make quality games time and time again. Lara Croft looks so life like.

This is kind of embarrassing, but I’ve owned this game on the 360 and PS4 Pro. However, the One X just knocks it out of the park. Aside from that, the gameplay and narrative in this game are phenomenal. Buy it!

This game is excellent for "story mode" lovers. The graphics are unbelievable and the story is real solid. Would definitely recommend.

Got this game based off a friend who kept talking about it at work. Watched a trailer and decided to just go ahead and get it. I know it's been out for a years now but I don't care. The game is fun and the graphics are pretty nice.

I loved the Tomb Raider reboot from two years ago and this game takes everything Crystal Dynamics did well in the first one and improved upon it. I love the puzzles in this game and the challenges. They're not super hard and yet not easy, they're the right amount of challenging to make the game fun.

This game has a great story. It follows where we left off in the last one and we see how much Lara has gotten better. Great game.

The game has always been top tier. I originally owned it on the PS4. I upgraded to the xbox 1 because I purchased an xbox1x. Wow let me tell you it an enormous and noticeable difference. Its a must have period but the if its running on the xbox 1 x its the definitive version!

I'm always hesitant to buy a new game because I can be a little picky about game play. Tomb raider was easy to pick up. Adjustable levels of difficulty. This game is both a shooter and a puzzle game with hints as needed throughout. Recommended for male and female gamers alike.

Truth be told I was a big huge of the last “Tomb Raider”. I am a fan of this more realistic approach, so if you enjoyed the character in the past you need to play this game, on a side note the modern Tom Raider film is also really good and close to the source material

When the reboot of Tomb Raider came out a few years ago I wondered what the game would be like. It ended up being a sleeper hit for me. One of my favorite games on the 360. This game is an improvement on all fronts. I'm a huge fan of Uncharted and to me this is the equivalent on the Xbox One.

Definitely scratching the itch as I wait for Uncharted. Takes all the best stuff from the original reboot and improves on it, while removing a lot of the original hiccups in the first. Overall, everyone with an XB1 needs to pick this game up because it's a serious contender for Game of the Year.
