Roborock cleans very well. It is not too loud. Overall I’m very impressed with the vac/mop.

It’s such an awesome vacuum! It works wonders and it’s pretty quite and there’s so much you can do with it in the app.

This is my second Roborock vacumm, I have also an S7 Ultra Max V which has been trouble-free and so my benchmark. This unit has been nothing but problems so far. The initial connection from the App was very problematic and just would not connect. I eventually got it to connect via a manual workaround and I consider myself pretty tech savvy. I would say it was at least 20 attempts before getting it to connect. Next issue was firmware update which took 5 or so attempts across 3-4 hours, it would just stop downloading and would not install. I cycled through lots of power cycles and re-attempts before for no explicable reason it succeeded. Initial mapping (only) run missed a room completely, again my S7 processed the same floor flawlessly. Solution? Nuke it and start over, not a big deal but not flawless. Next issue, the dirty water will not drain into the tank (syphon technically), so it cannot then re-fill the clean onboard tank and actually then mop the floors... The onboard error message doesn't provide a solution other than to 'reinstall' the tank - which of course does not resolve. I have read some suggestions about trying to 'prime' the syphon tube and blow air through various tubes etc, but seriously at this price point? Currently it will vacumm but will not mop and although I'll continue to try and trouble shoot, this has been a far from streamline process and not what I should be experiencing. Lastly, and this is subjective, but it overall does not feel as well made or as robust as the S7, not saying this really effects anything, but thought I would add. If I cannot resolve in the next 24hours, it will have to go back for a replacement.

I have used roomba this one is excellent. It is perfect for wood floor , tiles and carpet. I am happy with my purchase.

I’ve had this robo vacume for about a month now and I have spent zero minutes manually vacuuming or mopping. It’s clever and easy to use and my only wish is that it lasts me a couple years to make the price worth it. Fingers crossed.
