Expensive but worth it. Does a great job of cleaning out mostly hardwood floors and vacuuming area rugs. On first run it mapped the house. Though not a huge needed feature, it is cool to stream video from vacuum while it is running to see what's under furniture.

Great machine. Keeps your house clean. You still need to do a good mopping once per month BUT the little one is great for everyday cleaning. Keep the Water full, the Dirty water empty, the Mop Pad clean and the Vacuum Pan clear… IT takes care of the rest.

Wow, just wow! This robot vacuum/mop is far and away the leader. Impressive! It doesn't run into things but carefully navigates around them. It avoids mopping carpets all on its own. I'm blow away!

Love it. Love it. By far, hands down the best robot vacuum I've purchased and I've had a several (samsung, neato, Shark and evovac). Of course this one is also the most expensive I've owned but for what is does i see why its $1400 ($1399.99).

Wow! I’m not easily impressed, but I am with this new robot Roborock S7 MaxV vacuum cleaner and wet mop. Five years ago, we owned another top brand of robot vacuum cleaner. It was an absolute disaster and one of the stupidest machines I have ever had the misfortune of owning. After about six months of aggravation, it ended up in the trash. We swore we’d never own another one. So, we were a little apprehensive when we made the decision to get this new Roborock S7. Outside of the steep learning curve, we are very happy with our Roborock S7. We had it map our house the first day. Then the second day it vacuumed the entire 2,000 Sq Ft hardwood/tile/carpet main floor using only 42% of a full charge! I thought that was impressive. Make no mistake about it though, this is an intimidating machine with a fairly steep learning curve. The technology inside this machine must be incredible. Between the smart phone app, the machine itself, and the dock/cleaning station, there’s a lot to set up and understand and it does require periodic maintenance of both clean and dirty fluid levels and dust bag emptying. You have to do your part also, which should include reading all the documentation before you start. But once set up, it really does vacuum your floors and carpets, mop your floors, and then self-empties both the dirty liquid and the vacuum’s debris chamber. While it is mopping your floors it will return periodically to the dock to clean the mop and then head back to where it left off to continue with its mopping. And it does a good job. I love that I can now walk around the house barefoot and not step on kitty litter or other bits of grit on our hardwood floors. That is quite satisfying. While it is vacuuming it can sense the difference between bare floor, carpet, and throw rugs as it drives over them. When it leaves the bare floor and runs over a throw rug or carpet, it automatically kicks up the vacuum to one of the higher suction levels and then when it leaves the carpet or throw rug, it drops the suction down to the lower setting for the bare floor. The rotating side brush cleans debris out of the corners of the toe kick recesses below our kitchen cabinets better than we could ever do. That’s probably its most impressive feature. I don’t know why they have never put a rotating side brush on regular vacuum cleaners. In the two weeks we’ve had this Roborock S7, I’ve watched it extricate itself from all sorts of situations that I would’ve never thought possible. It can find its way out from underneath dining room chairs, dining room table, end tables, beds, desks, credenza’s, entertainment center, and so on. It even finds its way in and out of open closets where there’s a lot of stuff sitting on the floor. When it finds itself in a jam, it begins snooping all around its perimeter probing and testing for an exit until it eventually finds a way out of its situation. And it always finds its way out. That must be the AI algorithms for the obstacle avoidance. In one situation we have a lamp on an end table about 4 feet away from the wall power outlet. The lamp cord runs under one of those speedbump-style, anti-trip, cord protectors. Many times, I’ve watched the Roborock S7 climb up over the speedbump cord protector and do its work in that little corner of the living room and then climb back out overtop the speedbump cord protector. I never thought it would’ve been able to do that. That’s impressive. If you’re sitting in a recliner in the reclined position with the foot rest up, it will go under your recliner as far as it can, clean under there, and then find its way back out. Also impressive, especially since it had already mapped those two recliners as places where it can’t go. Speaking of changing situations, the Roborock S7 handles the changing obstacle environment in the home very well. Furniture gets moved all the time, shoes are left out, boxes left on the floor, cats and dogs laying in different places, we get in its way, and so on. It deftly avoids the new obstacles, and it cleans where it knew obstacles used to be. For instance, we have a wooden kitchen cart on casters that is never in the same place twice. It’s comical to watch the Roborock S7 probing an open area of the kitchen floor where it believes the cart should be from the last time it cleaned and then when it doesn’t find anything there, it goes ahead and cleans that area. The Roborock S7’s obstacle avoidance is almost perfect. Only twice have I had to find it and rescue it and both times it was my fault. One time, we forgot to pick up the puppy pad in the bathroom and of course it got partially wadded up. Thankfully it was clean and dry. The other time, the main brush wrapped up a stray USB cable that I didn't know was under the credenza next to my desk. I was able to easily pull the USB cord out and I was pleased to see that it was undamaged. I can never get a regular vacuum cleaner head under that credenza but the Roborock S7 crawls under there and I can hear it moving all around doing the job I could never do. Finally, it comes back out from under the credenza and my desk and happily moves on doing the rest of my home office. We are learning the hazards that we need to pick up and eliminate each time before we have the Roborock S7 begin its work. My wife jokingly said it’s a little like partially baby proofing your home. It’s worth noting that the last few times it has run without incident. I guess you could say it’s getting us trained too. We have yet to trust the Roborock’s cliff sensors at the top of our basement steps, so we keep a gate there that prevents it from getting too close to the edge. I’m sure the cliff sensors will work fine, everything else does, but we have a 9-foot finished basement and that’s a lot of steps. So far, we’ve been unwilling to risk it. I just can’t say enough good things about the Roborock S7 and its docking/cleaning station. I truly had no idea that robot vacuum cleaners have come this far in the last five years. My wife and I are getting elderly and this robot vacuum/mop is a real timesaver and backsaver for us both. Our floors haven’t been this clean in a long time. If you need it and can afford it, we can highly recommend it. One last thing, we finally broke down and named our robot vacuum cleaner “Stella”. You probably will to. We kept calling the Roborock S7 “It” so much that we finally had to choose a name. My choice was “Hazel” after the old TV series of the same name where the maid’s name was Hazel. My wife liked “Stella” and there you have it.

This has given my wife 1-2 hours of her life back in the evenings after kids get to bed. No more sweeping and mopping and the floors stay a consistent level of clean. Man this cost a lot but we both think that it was well worth the $$$
