Best of the best. Plus one point for automatically removing floor mopping

After countless hours of research I finally narrowed it down to the Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra. I’ve had it for a few months, and I’m not disappointed. It washes, cleans and empties itself. A few times the robot did get stuck, but after adding some invisible walls and no go zones it was fine. I would describe this as the Tesla robot vacuums!

This robot is so awesome. Finally a robot that can clean without running over cords and getting caught as well as mop at the same time it does not get the rug wet. It is truly like having a maid in your house. The best part is when I am at work I can chase my son around the house with a robot With the camera

Got it yesterday. Spend half a day trying first to set it up then to make it work. Mapping was fast and impressive. Mopping after was pretty good ( left negligible wheel marks. Then the problem started. Very loud mop washing. And the worst. Consistent error 44. It couldn’t drain water in to water container. Checked the lids, water filter, rubber thingies on the tank covers and tubes. Called customer support twice. They answered pretty quick but told me to check the same thing. Turned out it happens pretty often with this machine. Now I need to return this huge heavy box back. Very disappointed. The bottom of the dock still has muddy water which won’t drain disgusting Also customer service sent me email with photos that I followed and that’s it.

Not worth the money I paid for it. My $300 shark worked better.

grate product. the best robot vacuum by far which is this S7 MaxV Ultra has quite a few areas to improve on but all in all. I LOVE IT! This is advanced AI coupled with top-level engineering at its finest for robot vacuum cleaners.

Really wanted a top notch mop vacuum combo for our home after having a new baby and wow are we impressed. This gadget is really worth the money. Cleans and mops really well, mapping technology is amazing and avoidance is on point. Keeps us from having to mop daily.

Let me preface by saying this vacuum will clean your floors, no matter the type. However, at this price point it cleans very inefficiently and with little intelligence. I have watched this vacuum go in circles attempting to get around a table. It takes the vacuum nearly 5 minutes of adjustment to get around a table leg EVERY time it runs. I also have an animal cage on wheels that it can fit under, however it ALWAYS errors underneath and gets stuck. This vacuum also does not respond to voice commands very well. If you do not state the EXACT wording it expects, it will not work. The app is a bit to get used to with zones and cleaning methods. This isn’t a deal breaker, just seems a bit clunky with how many features it has to support. Overall it’s a great vacuum, just very poor value. I haven’t seen any competitor robot vacuums work, but I don’t think they would be much different than this one at half the price (or less).

Picked this up on discount right under $1100. Set up was quick, it scanned the main level of the house with no issues. Vacuum feature is solid i love that you can take through it and see through the vision while controlling manually.

Suddenly stops working and also makes too much noise

Does a surprisingly good job. We had the roomba i7 and brava before and this does a better job than both. Also had lots of issues with dog fur getting tangled on the roomba. Knock on wood, but so far we don’t have tangle issues.

Had a critical defect within the first 2 days and upon further inspection and research online found that the primary housing for the vacuum is made out of pot iron which will rust when exposed to water which is an issue due to it being a mop vacuum. They fully recognize that this is an issue and have an option to buy a drying unit to fix it. This is $100 add-on that is required to ensure that it stays operational. It is a poor design that will break well within a year.

works great, have had it for about two weeks now, and I have used it several times…absolutely no intervention by me except to empty the old water and replace with new water every 10 or 12 uses…great machine.

The Roborock S7MaxV Ultra is the highest featured, smart, advanced robotic floor cleaning device I’ve seen or used. Working to unbox the vacuum you will notice everything is a touch larger than most other robotic vacuum systems, most specifically the docking station. The docking stations features a clean water and dirty water tank, both of which are removeable for easy emptying and filling, a debris bin, auto emptying from the vacuum to the dock, and a cleaning system for the mop portion of the vacuum. Packing all those automation features in definitely comes at a cost on space. While this isn’t a big issue, if you have very limited storage space in the room you’re looking to place the docking station, you may have to reconsider some things. Initial setup is fairly straight forward. Download the mobile app, create an account, and connect your new assistant to Wi-Fi. You’ll be prompted to look for any updates, and then to really start digging into settings, you can perform a mapping run to create a layout of your house. This is the part that I would argue that could start to get a little on the advanced side. I’m very comfortable with technology as I deal with it every day for work and a hobby, but there’s a lot of settings you can start to dive into to take full advantage of everything the Roborock has to offer. Once the vacuum creates a layout, it will take guesses on room types, floor types, and obstacles based on machine learning. You can override any of these settings, adjust room dividers, define no-go zones, zones only for vacuuming or mopping exclusively, and more. The app will attempt to try and detect what types of obstacles exist in the room, and you can additionally place some generic furniture items on the map to better match your environment. Once you have your rooms setup, you can create different schedules based on specific rooms or have it clean the whole house. You also currently have the ability to create specific zones within rooms to go manually “spot” clean a zone if needed. You also have the ability to tie in voice control and request cleaning of specific rooms or the whole house. Quirky features, if the vacuum is connected to Wi-Fi, you can remotely check into the onboard camera and even talk and listen through the vacuum to touch base with pets or anyone else who might be nearby. The vacuum is also surprisingly quiet and its rubber coated brush does a good job at not getting all tangled up in hair. Let’s dive a touch deeper now into arguably the biggest feature of this vacuum, it’s obstacle avoidance system. We touched on the ability for the device to “map out” a floor plan, but the technology goes much deeper than that. Roborock’s ReactiveAI 2.0 Obstacle Avoidance system is what’s been needed in these vacuums for a long time. With the Roborock’s PreciSense LiDAR Navigation to quickly map an entire room, its structured light 3D scanner, RGB camera, and LED light to scan and identify the location and size of obstacles and hazards in both bright and dark rooms, you won't need to worry about this vacuum getting into any trouble. The Roborock utilizes machine learning and a dedicated neural processing unit to recognize numerous hazards from wires, shoes, and even pet waste and intelligently plots an adaptive route to avoid them all. The superior 3D obstacle avoidance technology in the Roborock is simply stunning. Overall, if you’re looking for a robotic floor cleaning partner in crime that can help you keep not only your carpets but hard floors spotless, you seriously need to try this thing out. It’s almost completely maintenance free apart from having to empty a dirty water tank and debris/dust bin and filling the water tank occasionally. The Roborock has all the intelligence in the world to avoid obstacles in the most complex household environments and will just make your life that much easier. How nice is it to come home to consistently clean floors? If you’ve ever used an inferior or dumber smart vacuum and always wished it had those one or two more features to really be the best it can be, you don’t need to look further. This is truly your all-in-one floor cleaning robotic helper.

Amazing! Upgraded from the Roomba S9+. We have 5 dogs and a cat. 3 dogs are super shedders. This machine is fast and quiet. Runs everyday and makes our lives easier. Paid same as what I paid for the other one 3yrs ago.

This is a tech marvel. The amount of time this saves is awesome. Its much more advanced then the other robot we own in every way. Yes, its pricy, but it is incredible in how fast it gets the job done.

The only fully-featured hands-free option on the market makes this a win. Its the one to top for its competitors. 1st robot for our house.

The first few times it worked great, now it doesn’t avoid cords and also will stop in the middle of the floor and give an error that it is stuck. Will be returning.
