Hands down the best robot vacuum
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have had the Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra for a couple of weeks now and I am thoroughly impressed. It is amazing how robot vacuum technology has advanced in the few years since I got my first Roomba robot vacuum. I have the Roborock on a schedule to vacuum my single level home every weekday with a mop every other day while we are at work, and my floors have never been cleaner. The floors in my home are a mixture of carpet, hardwood, and ceramic tile. The Roborock recognizing the floor type and adjusts its cleaning accordingly. It will also recognize carpet floor mats and adjust cleaning in those areas. It will recognize and avoid furniture, toys, and other obstacles. It was able to map my home on the first cleaning. It will attempt to identify rooms, and the map is customizable within the app. You can do target cleaning in certain rooms of your home without performing a full cleaning. The mop and vacuum cleaning intensity is also adjustable independently. The Roborock has a light on the front that comes on during low lighting so that the obstacle recognition will work in any lighting condition. It also has a camera on the front that can be viewed through app which is helpful when you have pets at home. You can see the robot’s movement in real time on the map in the app. The app will notify you when the robot is cleaning, runs into trouble, or if the dock needs fresh water or if the dirty tank emptied. The Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra comes with an Empty Wash Fill Dock that automates the whole process with minimal effort. Depending on mopping frequency and the size of the area, you just fill the clean water tank and empty the dirty water tank, as needed. I have filled the empty water tank once in two weeks with us mopping about a 750 sq. ft. area three times per week. The robot itself is self-refilling and self-cleaning. It also empties its dust pan into a dust bag on the docking station. The dust bag on the docking station lasts a couple of months before needing to be replaced. The mop cloth on the robot automatically washes itself after each mopping. The mop cloth can also be removed and thrown into the washing machine when needed. The Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra is a near perfect robot vacuum. It is well designed and it seems that the engineers at Roborock have thought of everything. I don’t know that I would change anything about it. The robot has every feature that you would want, including a powerful vacuum, a mop that cleans your hard floors without soaking your carpet, self-cleaning, and smart AI that maps, is efficient, and effectively avoids obstacles. It is a pretty awesome device and I highly recommend it.

Cleaning redefined !!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Roborock S& MAXV Ultra will make you forget about your mop and vacuum all together. This robot vacuum and mop lets you keep your floors clean without having to worry about cleaning out the dirt for up to 7 weeks at a time. In the box you will find the vacuum, the dock, the mopping pad and the dock dustbin. Initial set up starts with setting up the dock in an area that is larger than most robot vac docks. Once you have the docking station setup with clean water(I prefer to use distilled water in my appliances de to hard water in my area) and the dustbin attached then you can proceed to the app. As the vacuum charges you can explore the app and all the settings you have access to. Once the vac is fully charged I would recommend sending it out on it's mapping run so it may establish the most efficient cleaning path. Even though the vac has a object avoidance system via Roborock's AI system and camera I wouldl recommend trying to provide the clearest path possible especially during the 3D mapping phase so that most of your cleanable surface is cleaned properly. The cleaning path is 6.7 inches which is nice for a robo vac because previous robo vacs that I have use have had smaller cleaning paths. The vac features sell emptying and mop pad cleaning upon returning to the dock to ensure the mopping pad is clean each time the vac goes out to clean. The water tank also refills itself when it returns to the dock so you can clean a little over 3000 sq ft without having to refill the clean water. The mopping also features sonic vibration technology which means it can scrub at 3000 scrubs per minute so you don't have to worry about dried on dirt. The mop will also lift automatically, up to 5mm to avoid getting any carpeted areas wet. This feature worked well in my living room where I have an area rug adjacent to to my tile floor. This vacuum may not work well on high pile carpets as it is not meant for high pile carpet. You can also adjust the suction via the app so areas that may need higher or lower suction can be adjusted. You can also video call via the on board camera which is nice in case the vacuum gets stuck somewhere. The obstacle avoidance system works very well since it usually has to avoid my son's hotwheels cars and unlike other robot vacs it has not tried to suck up one of his cars yet. Overall the Roborock S7 Mac V Ultra is the ultimate robot mop vac combo that you can currently purchase. This amazing machine puts all other robot vacs to shame and this will keep your floors looking clean without much fuss or effort

Mop Washing Stopped Working, Poor Customer Service
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have been a long-term Roborock customer and overall I had good experience with their products. This is my 3rd Roborock vacuum and the first 2 worked fine for years. But for this one, the mop washing function stopped working after 2 weeks of use. I contacted roborock customer support and went through the trouble shooting steps. Did not resolve the issue. They first recommended me to reach out to Best Buy, but it was out of Best Buy's return period (which is very short compared to other retailers), so Best Buy refused to do anything. Then they said the only option is to send the robot vacuum back to their facility for repair. And the parts they need are out of stock. It has been weeks yet I'm still waiting for the parts to arrive, which is unlikely to be on time. Overall the customer service experience is very poor. The response is very slow, usually taking 1 or 2 days to hear back. I paid 1400 USD for a product that couldn't last 2 weeks, and they don't even offer replacement. I WILL NOT RECOMMEND ROBOROCK ANYMORE.

Falling Far Short
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have had 3 floor cleaners and this one has had the most problems. The first cleaning my dog's hair wrapped around everything, the side brush, main brush and inside the opening was just clogged with hair and dirt. If this continues I will return it.

The robot vac that does it all
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got this to upgrade my previous robot vac. It's generally better in most aspects, but also has more features. Setup was generally fairly painless, though the first time putting it on the dock, I don't think I had it on properly, and also even though it lit up, it wasn't actually ON, and I had to press the power button. The directions weren't immediately obvious about these steps. After that, once it's charged you can start cleaning. I don't find the app to be very intuitive, and it's hard to discern what features this vacuum actually has. But doing basic mop and vac is basically just one button press. Like most robot vacuums, it needs to complete a full cleaning/mapping of your entire home. This can be timely, and I didn't let it charge all the way the first time, and it had to go back to charge before finishing, lengthening the first clean and mapping cycle. It's mopping ability is far superior to my previous vac, and it's very convenient that it will physically clean the mop with a brush in the dock, using water from the reservoir. It also vibrates the mop pad when cleaning, so it's actually scrubbing the floor instead of just dragging a wet pad across it. I found it to be fairly effective for light cleaning. If you have more stubborn or stuck on grime on your floor, you'll still have to wash by hand. This is good for general routine cleaning/maintenance. The drive motor is a bit loud, particularly on long straight drives when it picks up speed. I can hear it over the suction/vacuum even on carpet. It will automatically detect when it's on carpet or hard floor and adjust cleaning accordingly. But, after it maps, and you carve out your rooms on the app, I haven't figured out how to tell it to only vacuum one room, or only mop, etc... I have to manually select vac/mop, just vac, or just mop when selecting a room to clean. Otherwise, if you leave it at mop/vac and send it to clean a room that has only carpet, it will still clean the mop before setting off on it's job, delaying the start, and also means it has a damp mop it's taking along for the ride that won't get used, and instead picks up whatever might happen to stick to it. Then it goes back and cleans the mop again after vacuuming, wasting water. Minor annoyance, and maybe I just haven't figured the app out yet. They also want you to use only plain water or their specific brand of floor cleaner... but I put in a small amount of Mr. Clean anyway, and it seems to work fine. The water tanks hold a fair bit of water... Almost too much. You might want to empty and clean the dirty water tank more frequently than needed, lest it starts to build up a funky smell. Its obstacle detection is good... it's not as aggressive about eating things like power cords, but it still can, and they tell you to move cords and small things before cleaning. What I don't understand is why it needs such a bright LED on the front. Other LIDAR systems don't need bright light to work, since they can use infrared. I find the bright LED a bit distracting, but it works. tl;dr: It's an effective feature-rich robot vac with tons of convenience, but not super intuitive, and not the most discreet robot vac.

Very effective
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Works excellent on hardwood floors and typical carpet. Throw rugs are fine as long as they are big enough to not slide easily. If not, just shake them off and set them aside while Roborock does its job. It is very fun to watch and seem incredibly smart at figuring out how to navigate different areas. App works well to see its progress. Highly recommend.

If I could have given 10 stars I would have.
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I only give 5 stars when a product really deserves it. In this case 5 stars are not enough as this product is the real deal. I have worked with some very good single mode robot cleaners but they all have the same problem, single mode. This duel mode cleaning robot truly excels in both dry and wet cleaning functions. To start the packaging was solid which is always a good sign and expected with a top end product like this. Easy to get set up with clear pictorial guides on a sheet of card stock the size of the top of the box. I have two levels but most of the living is done on the street level of my home so the other robots are now in the basement where things are less important. This takes care of just about every inch of my main living area which has both carpeted and un-carpeted wood and tile floors. I was very impressed at the mapping ability and how easily it mapped my entire level on the first go around. Once that is complete, you can label various areas or zones which you can then use to set up routines. For example I have it set up to cover the entryway area and the work zone in the kitchen more frequently than the bedroom and bathroom. As for suction, they say it is their highest suction yet and I believe them. It does a great job even with hard to pick up debris like oatmeal and flour which happened to be on the kitchen floor from some cooking my nephew was helping me with. With too many features to mention another amazing thing about this unit is that it actually lifts the mop pad up when on carpets making it unnecessary to "refit" the unit manually. It just "knows" the surface it is on and cleans appropriately. Seriously cool! The self cleaning function is also note worthy. The mechanical action that cleans the mopping pad cleans it well and sets the unit up for its next run without any intervention on my part. The proof is in the dirty water bin as it is totally disgusting when I emptied it. All in all, this is a huge step forward for my cleaning needs and I think it would be for most people.

Awesome!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After all the years of having robot vacuums some just a vacuum some duel with a mop they always had some significant downside. For instance the duel units would either have to do only carpet or only the hard floors or when it did the hard floors with the mop it could no longer travel on the carpet etc. We have purchased 4 robot vacuums in the past and on our most recent purchase we went with the top of the line name brand in hopes we could finally find one we liked well enough to not have to clean all the time. The name brand untitled we purchased was effective but had its own quirks. It worked good but then we were missing the mop function. Our downstairs living area where this is located has approx 1800sq ft of living space with mixed flooring do to area rugs but it’s mainly tile. Our new vacuum/mop combo unit cleans the area with ease and what’s really cool is it’s got a storage tank for dirty water and clean water and it even washes the pad by itself. It really is low maintenance and the best function is the actual vacuum it’s fantastic! We have a pet cat that leaves hair everywhere and finally a strong enough robot vacuum that cleans most of it up. Of course it’s got a few downsides like noise but all of them are loud. This one finally takes away the constant need to vacuum by hand and the mop does a well enough job that after it runs I feel like our floors are really clean. For the tech side we have an app to control / set schedule. Easy to set up but it’s a big vacuum and the base is large as well but needed for the reservoir and trust me that’s worth it. Not sure how much maintenance this one will require because we just got it but I hope we can get things we need for it since it’s so new. Overall I’m very pleased by the performance but this one is a bit expensive and if you’re not super picky like me you may be happy with other models. You do get what you pay for and I would recommend to a friend and family

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I read reviews on the Roborock for over a year. I researched other ones and I still loved this one. One was purchased for me as a gift. I am in love with it. Its so smart. It is the best invention. I am a person who wants clean floors everyday. Must have
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My husband & I have finally upgraded to this this Roborock. We love the three separate compartments. It makes it so easy for us to use having the clean water, dirty water, and the bag for vacuum. Less work to clean which was a plus. So far we have not have an issue.

Awesome vacuum
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a very nice, powerful vacuum. To start, it was not very easy to set up. The directions were not very helpful. Installing the app was difficult because the products listed were not my product and the QR codes were not correct, according to the app. I was eventually able to set it up after trying other methods. Once I started running the vacuum, it did a scan of the area I wanted it to clean. It showed a map on the app letting me see where it was going. I stopped when it encountered pieces of furniture and moved around it. It vacuumed as it went along. It did a pretty good job. Once I sent it back home to the base, it moved onto the base, and automatically dumped the dust. It thought that was a pretty neat feature. I tested out the mop feature briefly. It worked pretty well too. I have to say, I was surprised it worked so well. I will keep playing around with it to set up scheduled times to run, when my dogs are not out. Overall, I am quite pleased with this vacuum. I like having the app on my phone, and the map of the area it is cleaning. The base was larger that I expected, but that is not a deal breaker. I highly recommend this vacuum. It worked well on carpet and tile.
