Great when it came out
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Its done great however after 3 years im finally replacing parts on the dock. Left it at 5 starts because when I bought it in 2022 it was innovative and when i finally replace this one ill probably buy another roborock.i suggest the newer models though.

Great investment and totally worth the money

They forgot to put sensors in the dust bin.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a spectacular machine. It outperforms my old iRobot in nearly every single way. It recognizes most cords, shoes, and other obstacles. It navigates far more efficiently than the Roomba ever did. The use of lidar is amazing, as I can tell where in the house it is at any given moment. There's just one problem. The dustbin has no sensors. The whole purpose of getting a robot vacuum is to remove objects from your floor, like dog hair and dust. Once the bin fills, the robot keeps going, and the vacuum is completely worthless. This could be in just a few passes if you have dogs or kids. It will clean the mop several times, but only at the end of the job will it empty the bin. It will end the job if you tell it to empty the bin via the app. Who wants a robot vacuum that doesn't vacuum?

Solid performer
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This vacuum is a game changer. If you want something that does what its supposed to and performs simple tasks well without much intervention this is the vacuum for you. Just set it up, fill up the mop tank and step away from vacuuming and mopping for 7 weeks. Set up is easy and once it was done, the vacuum has performed flawlessly. Admittedly this wasnt a cheap purchase but Its groundbreaking tech that works and worth the money if you dont want to be bothered with mopping and vacuuming for 7 weeks.

Mopping and Vacuuming
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Why have a product this advance that doesn't allow me to mop on certain days and avoid all the carpeted areas made as no-go-zones and then on vacuuming days it vacuums the entire map? I want to vacuum everywhere Monday, Tuesday and Friday and "only" mop areas that don't have no-go-zones because those are the carpeted areas. I wasted a bunch of time thinking I could set up no-go-zones for carpeted areas when only mopping and now I can't use the setup because vacuuming follows the same no-go zones. Why not have a map for each task? This seems simple enough to me and I would think that an update to the software would allow that. Otherwise, the vacuum must raise the mop up to run over all the carpeted areas which adds an enormous amount of “unnecessary” extra mopping time when only wanting to mop the hard floors.
