I’ve named it Henry. Here is my sappy story… When I was a little girl I would clean up the house for my dad as he left work to long hours. Weekly I would clean the floors and even though I was happy to help my dad, I dreaded cleaning up the dirt that accumulated from our dusty home. Fast forward 30 years later, I still dread cleaning the floors. However, my new robot is incredible. I cannot say enough about the peace of mind I have with this machine that is of the self dispensing of dirty water and filling of clean water— it’s design is impeccable. All I have to do is press a little button, and my Henry goes right to work mapping out our whole floor and completing under 60 minutes. Henry is super quiet as well. I love it.

    The best robo vac ever

This is the best robo vac ever built. The senosors work well and it avoids obstacles with ease (there were some hiccups but not too bad). at 5100pa its more than enough with a pet. After about 30 mins of cleaning it left my floors shining and fur free. Also the mop works fairly well. Its not as same as the dedicated vac-mop cleaner like roborock Dyad but it does the job. I would say abaout 70%, which is pretty good for a automated mopping system. The only annoying part is the cleaning the tray. You have to clean it thoroughly as the water tend to get stuck in small places. Other than that i have no complaints. I will probably grab another one for a different floor. Worth every cent.

I had a roomba ten years ago and then updated to the 980 six years ago. Roomba was ok, always left me feeling like it could be better. Hated Vslam with a passion. Somehow Roborock entered my search this year and I was so curious, I waited until this s7maxv ultra was available again and pulled the trigger. Also mops, and raises mop, and self cleans, and camera with ai, and led light for dark spots and sophisticated app and regular updates and LiDAR. YES please! I swore I wouldn’t leave review before a week, but on third day I am so impressed I have to! If roomba is Tesla, this Roborock is Nio: LiDAR, better quality, solid passion and intelligence. Quick mapping in 5 minutes without mauling furniture. Vacuumed 495 sq-ft (it shows in app) in 45 minutes. Did it 3 times before mop (per instructions). Easy fill plain water. Nice. Made it do bathroom only with 2x cycle to test. Today I added Roborock cleaning fluid (1 cap for 3 liter water tank) and left for errands. Came back, everything vacuumed, mopped with mop-wash between rooms, intense setting, and it smelt slightly of lemon scent. Faux hard wood feels clean in kitchen as do bathroom tiles. Empty dirty water was super easy. Turn over Roborock and clean out hair from spin wheel, pop out rubber roller and side plugs, pull out long hair. Easy, everything feels premium. Literally pops out of the box when installed. App install and pairing was mindless (2.5g Wi-Fi). Add to Alexa was mindless. I don’t have to put cushions in front of delicate furniture. I’m not paranoid about leaving an item on the floor. Bathroom door was half ajar by mistake and it didn’t trap itself. This robo-vac is designed by people who clearly understand human beings and love to innovate! The stand and buckets feel premium plastic, soooo much nicer than aluminum. I have a lot of furniture that I moved between cleans, no issues. I have fatigue mats in kitchen, after clearing obstacle warning (with pics) in app, and clearing wrong carpet classification, no problems it climbs up and cleans all. I have low pile carpets and two medium pile rugs. No problem. With future firmware and app updates it will only get better. Apparently the Chinese version (g10) also has self-empty dustbin option and mop drying heater option which I hope will become available here soon. If you have long pile carpets then eww gross what is wrong with you can’t imagine creepy crawlies living in there, just tear them out and install hygienic low pile or wood floor and get this bot. If you got a faulty unit then get it replaced, this thing is awesome!

Our roomba killed itself and melted the rollers to the device, so we wanted to try this out instead and OMG it's so much better! Not only does it do both the vacuuming and mopping at the same time, but it's super efficient at both in a fraction of the time just the roomba vacuum did. When emptying the dirty mop water I can actually see how much dirt it picked up and I've noticed my socks/feet don't get dirty on the bottoms. Does the entire 1200 sq ft apt in less than 2 hours, and much quieter than the roomba. Extremely happy with this purchase

To start, I do not write reviews. I do read them, but have never felt the need to contribute until I received the Roborock S7 Max Ultra. All I can say is WOW!! I just received this a few days ago, but have been very, very impressed. Mapped my 3300 square foot main level in 26 minutes. Took me about 15 minutes to make adjustments (2) and name the rooms. The Roborock App is amazing and very easy to use. It took all of 15 minutes to look through all the menus and have a good understanding of what it could do. Sent it out to clean one room at a time and it identified all the couches and beds in each room. Was very impressed that it went under dressers and beds as that is definitely not somewhere I vacuum on a regular basis! I really like the ability to vacuum and mop, just vacuum or just mop as well. Also nice to be able to set the vacuum suction level and mop scrub intensity as well. The first time I had it mop our hardwood floors, I noticed wheel marks / streaks on the floor that were very concerning. I then decided to increase the scrub intensity and sent it our for another pass. The streaks were still there, but barely visible. Sent it out a third time and no more streaks. At first I thought this is not going to work for me if I have to have it clean the hardwood floors three times on every cleaning! There was one small section it could not get to, so I decided to clean that by hand. When I did, I notice there was a film on the floor. Apparently, the cleaner I was using was not being completely removed when rinsing. Anyway, we had a few people over last night, and our dark hardwood floors looked pretty rough. I send Vlad the Inhaler out to vacuum and mop and the floors were spotless and streak free with one pass. The vacuuming ability of this device is amazing. We do have a central vacuum installed, but I can assure you it will not be used very often. This little godsend is doing an amazing job; freeing me up for more enjoyable summertime activities! I know it is expensive, but in my families opinion, it is worth every penny. I cannot tell you how pleased I am and would HIGHLY recommend this unit to anyone looking for the ultimate in robotic cleaning. PS: Sorry to see a few people mention the "44 error" regarding the filter. I did receive it once, and the app actually showed a picture of the unit and two places to look for a potential issue. For me both locations were an issue. When my wife emptied the dirty water tank, she did not secure the lid clip. Also, the water filter float had a small piece of plastic that had lodged in the arm of the float that kept it from opening completely. Obviously, the lid clip was easy to diagnose, but it took a minute to figure out how to remove the water filter, which is just an additional plastic tray with a top with holes drilled in it, and the aforementioned float is in the corner of that assembly. It is very easy to remove and replace once you look at either the picture of it displayed in the app, or by looking in the manual. No more "44 errors" since.

So we have multiple dogs and an unfinished back yard. Needless to say it can be difficult to keep up with things. I've been through about 4 different robot vacs (Ecovacs, Samsung, Neato, etc). Killed em all... But the S7MaxV absolutely rocks! By far the best in navigation and ease of setup. It just works.

So I have both this vacuum and the Ecovacs X1 Omni....this bot is MUCH better if you have mixed surfaces including carpet and tile and or hardwood; however, the X1 Omni is more to my liking on NO CARPET due to the dual spinning mops. The S7 is a really incredible bot and it is slightly different in that it has a headlight for seeing in the dark, but the X1 Omni has a laster that it sees with in the dark (red eye), so if you are going to use one of these bots in the dark while you are sleeping, get the X1, but if not and you have mixed floors, you should consider the S7 because the X1 WILL NOT cross carpet and is relatively useless if it has to cross carpets to mop, while the S7 will pick its mop up to cross the carpets. Really can't go wrong with either one. I will say one more thing, the S7 is a bit more of a tank and seems to be more rugged, but the X1 is smoother, sleeker looking unit. The S7 can get caught up on the taller pile rugs, it will go up and then the cliff sensor makes it get stuck if the rug is dark, where the X1 doesn't do that as frequently. You cannot go wrong with either of these units, and if you don't own at least one or the other if not both, you are truly missing out; I have touched my Dyson cordless vacuum one time since I got these two robots and they are waaaay ahead of all the other robots on the market in my opinion.

One of my favorite purchases all time. I’m a busy mom, and recently suffered a hand injury that makes it hard for me to vacuum/mop, and this has been such a lifesaver! Even if I hadn’t gotten hurt I’d still love this thing. It’s not as powerful as a regular vacuum, so if you have carpet I’d recommend still doing a good vacuuming here & there, but I was pleasantly surprised that it was powerful enough to leave the lines in the carpet making it look nice and freshly cleaned. The mopping was also pleasantly surprising, it work’s pretty well (unless something is stuck on, but regular dirt/dust is fine). It notifies you when tanks need to be filled/emptied, but doesn’t notify when the dust bag is full, wish it did. It also picks up and stores dirt/hair in the crevasses underneath, so it needs to be checked & cleaned. You can schedule, but I usually use as needed, I love that I can clean the floors while I’m out & have them nice for when I get home. Some minimal problems with the robot losing the dock after my toddler pushed buttons on it, but the customer service was great, and I learned the buttons can be locked so i don’t have the problem anymore. Overall it’s great, and I hope it lasts a long long time!

I've only had this unit for a month or so, and man it's nice to not hear it smashing into everything in the house. It also does a fantastic job cleaning. Every time I empty the dirty tank it's nice to see it's actually dirty, as well as it cleans the little mop it's self. I have no complaints, I just hope it holds up over time for the amount of money it costs. So far, excellent.

We’ve had it over 2 years now and it’s still going strong! I keep up with regular maintenance which likely prevents issues and certainly means better cleaning. To prevent odors, use a bit of B———l Hard Floor Sanitize in both clean water and dirty water tanks instead of brands soap. It’ll also prevent black gunk from growing in the vacuum’s small tank, which could block tubings. Would definitely buy this exact model again! It’s now available refurbished.

Simply amazing! I have a golden retriever and was tired of using my Dyson so clean up after all of her hair. We got the ROBOROCK November of 2022 and I have not used my Dyson ever since! We have a house of 2500 sqft. Rooms have carpet and the rest of the house tile. I run the robot on it’s vacuum mode first and cleans the whole house with 2 charges. Then I run the mop and it takes around 2 charges also because I set it up in the highest setting. I changes my dust bag around 6 weeks of use and i still think it could have hold more. I only use my Dyson to cover the edges or some areas that the robot cannot reach because if tables or decorative pieces I have. But overall one of the best purchases I have done. We have 3 carpets in our living room and it knows when to lift up the mop so it doesn’t get it wet. 1 capers is thicker and expensive so I crated a “ no mop/vacuum zone” and the robot just gets right to the edge of it and turns around gets all of the areas with out touching the expensive white rug. Just buy it you will not regret it!

Hands Down Best Robot Vacuum on the Market!

I have owed Roborock vacuums for several years now. I finally upgraded to the Max V Ultra about 7 months ago. Incredible value for the money. It has saved me 2-3 hours per week that I would have otherwise wasted on mopping and vacuuming. And that is where the ture value is. At 3 hours per week, that means I have almost 7 days a year that I can now use spending more time with my kids. I cant wait to see what Roborock comes out with next!

Though not sold in my local store, it was a quick order. I have been using the unit for eight months and love it. But as with everything, love can have some issues. The positives are it is highly user-friendly. Every mechanical issue, whether clogged or unit needing maintenance, is quickly done. I have a large home, so it tends to need to be charged before it is complete, but I am ok with that. But after eight months of use, it seems to have more issues. Charging is more frequent and takes a very long time. I am hoping for the price paid so that it is not starting to fail. If so, I will make another post. The app is quite helpful. It enables me to know when it needs things. It also is good when it gets trapped; I know what room it is in. Overall, it has been a good unit so far, but I will voice concerns if the battery increasingly declines in the next month.

We updated our flooring and wanted to get a new robot vacuum that also mopped. Our first robot vacuum was a Roborock S5 which has been very reliable and easy to keep running over the last 5 years. We moved the S5 upstairs and have this S7 running daily on our LVP flooring, carpets and rugs. Even with 2 dogs, it does a great job both mopping and vacuuming. The S7 was incredibly easy to setup. Maintenance has also been easy with the auto emptying dust bin and only needs to change the water occasionally. I did purchase the extra mop dryer upgrade and the mop head has stayed clean and odor free. Very impressed with this vacuum so far and would definitely recommend any of Roborock's products.

All my dreams have come true. I have 3 very messy children, a large dog that sheds A TON, 2 long hair cats, and a grown man that won't take his dirty shoes off. I have tried everything including a wet jet, steam mop, crosswave, norwex mop, and have a handheld plus upright vacuum on each floor. No matter how hard I tried. I couldnt keep up. My friends would come over and start cleaning the floors like I hadnt just done it a few hours ago. But with this guy....ooof...my floors are clean. All. Them. Time. Unless my kids turn her off bc she is a bit loud so they can't hear their youtubes at which point I give them the options...she cleans or you do, deal with it. I cant tell you how much stress this investment in my self care has lifted from my shoulders. Worth it.
