Great with tile cleaning. But when needing a replacement the manufacturer only provides refurbished ones…

The Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra is absolutely worth it! My home has never been this clean – no dust, no mess, just fresh and spotless floors every day. Powerful vacuuming and mopping, quiet operation, and total convenience. Truly one of the best investments for keeping the house fresh and tidy!

The premium price I expected less attention having to be paid to it. Does it do a very good job on tile even set on the higher scrub settings. The most frustrating part for me is the app and that it doesn’t let you delete rooms. see the reason I need to delete rooms is that the Roborock create new rooms that it sees through glass. So I have sections of rooms that are nothing about a backyard and I have no way to delete it to keep the map simple and somewhat. Requires a lot of maintenance. The dog shadow puppet in the picture is a patio on the other side of glass door that I can’t delete from map.

Pros: Setting up the app and mapping was super easy. You can set routines for just vacuuming or mopping or both. The self-cleaning feature works great. Floors feel clean after use. Cons: The mini mopping arm "jammed", which stops the cleaning cycle. Took it apart, no jam. Researched lots of consumers struggling with the same issue. Will be returning today.

I’ve had 4 robot vacuums. This one takes the cake!

In the FAQ’s on this site, Roborock states you can get an extra 4 years extended warranty if purchased from Best Buy before 12/31/2024, just by contacting their customer service. This is no longer true. I called today and they say that promotion ended in May. Dont use that promotion as a factor in choosing this vacuum.

Amazing robot vaccum couldn’t have asked for a more intelligent robot , my wife is super happy .our house has a lot of rugs and wooden floor and this vaccum has never wet any carpet while it mops the floor .

Very good product, used several other before but fixed for Roborock

I recently bought a Roborock robot vacuum/mop from Best Buy. When it works, it’s excellent—great suction for German Shepherd hair, effective mopping, accurate LiDAR mapping, and reliable no-go zones (my long vine plants that almost got sucked up/big mess) After just 3 weeks, I got the “LiDAR turret laser blocked” error. Tried all fixes (cleaning with Q-tip, spinning the turret, resets, firmware updates), but it kept returning to the error message and worsened. Roborock returns can be a hassle, so my Best Buy Totaltech membership made the exchange quick and easy—no issues. Hoping the new replacement lasts longer, especially considering the price. Performance is top-notch when functioning, but watch for LiDAR issues in pet homes. Best Buy’s return policy was a lifesaver—highly recommend the membership for tech like this. Hoping I just got a dud one and this new one will impress me longer. 4/5 stars (deducting for the early defect).

Definitely not worth the price. Flexi arm does not work properly and leaves a ton of debris clean. Mopping and auto emptying functions help the convenience but for this price I would not recommend this device

We even gave it a name – Afonya – because it quickly became a part of our daily routine and feels like a smart little helper around the house. The automatic RockDock Ultra station is one of the biggest reasons we love this model. It empties the dustbin, washes the mop pad, dries it, and manages clean and dirty water tanks completely on its own. We barely have to do anything besides refill water once in a while. The navigation and mapping are extremely accurate. It easily recognizes obstacles, avoids cords and shoes, and creates a very detailed map of our home. The app is user-friendly and makes it simple to set schedules, zones, or room-specific cleaning. Our floors look clean every day without effort. The mopping function is excellent — it actually scrubs the floor instead of just wiping it. After running every day, our home feels noticeably fresher and tidier. Overall, this is by far the most advanced and convenient cleaning device we’ve ever owned. It saves us a ton of time, keeps the house spotless, and works completely autonomously. Definitely worth the investment, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for premium automated cleaning.
