I didn't try with a video game that I suppose is when you can have all the features, but I use just because my PC is far from my seat, so I can plug headphones easily on the USB hub on the desk.

The item will function. The sound going through the headset is fine, but the microphone gets all crackly and has a strange lagged sound, like it's built in sound processor can't handle it. Doesn't sound good at all. Seems intermittent. If you just want USB-sound, this will work fine. If you want something for a headset, I'd spend the extra money on something better.

I have two pcs that have problems with the audio ports, both will play sound but neither will let the microphone work, this solved the problem on both machines without having to replace the sound card instead.

This does exactly what it promised. I needed a specific kind of microphone/headset combination, and my onboard sound card could not accommodate it. This did the trick at very little expense. Love it!

My turtle beach headsets broke (still can't figure out how or when) so after watching a lot of youtube videos I decided on the HyperX Cloud Alpha unfortunately my sound card is a usb port and the HyperX i has plugs so after some research I got this and it has worked like a dream.

Works fine on the laptop, but not on the HP Computer with Windows 10 where I need it. Audio on the Computer does not work so even using external speakers I have no action.

Had (have) an issue with windows 10 and audio jacks (I spent hours trying to fix per online tutorials).. but this was the perfect solution to allow my sons gaming headphones to work on his gaming pc. Got it on sale for $13 and was the best money I spent!

Works great for sound, but even with all options to change mic volume level maxed out the mic is very quiet. This product was retired with no use due to this reason.

Great sound quality in the headphones if you wanna feel like your in a movie theatre but to use for my streaming mic it doesn't pick it up

You have to download the driver from the ROCCAT's website but the Windows 10 built-in driver works OK. It come with a tiny instruction book with tiny print. For the most part, you don't need the instructions but for the company web address. Get your magnifier out as you'll need it. I tried both the Windows 10 driver and the downloaded driver and the company driver doesn't sound any better. Stick with the Windows 10 driver. The biggest negative about this devices is the "thump/pop" on boot-up and shutdown. Two stars of for average sound and thump/pop.

I do a lot of podcasting work and i was looking for a viable option for phone interviews. I have spent money on many devices to bring skype into my podcast and this one did the trick! It's a must buy in my book.

This worked great for hooking up my butt kicker gamer for my sim racing rig. The butt kicker runs off an audio jack which will require you to have 2 separate audio outs. Perfect solution.

I need the Roccat because I already had the microphone and speaker ports of my computer being taken and I need to create another set for use with my radio equipment. The Roccat performs as advertised. No problems.

I use this for my Razer Blade 15, using a audiophile headphones and a modmic. Works perfectly, only downside is it requires a USB port but was the only audio splitter I could find locally so itll do. 10/10 would buy again

Used this for my laptop. Had issues with teamspeak where I could only either speak or listen but not both due to the sound card limitation in the laptop. This was an inexpensive solution.

The product is great but the price they charged me for shipping less than 15 miles from the store, sucked! They are gauging people during this time of crisis

Audio port housing came loose. This cable allowed me to still hear audio and not require a hardware repair. What a lifesaver and very inexpensive. Thumbs up, Best Buy!

I got this because my computer didn’t want to recognize my microphone when plugged into the headphone jack but this device fixed that problem

If you need usb audio port this is a great way to go. Audio interface broke on laptop after warrant. This did they trick though probably overkill on performance for listening to tunes on a mediocre headset.
