    Easy restoration of computer sound

My motherboard based sound capability died and I was looking for an easy way to restore sound to my desktop computer. I found this and decided to give a try since it wouldn't break the bank and was the easiest to implement. You plug it into a USB slot, let the driver load automatically, plug in your speaker cords and voila! Sound! It just doesn't get any easier than that!

    A soundcard?

Yup. It's a sound card for your USB. It also has features that can be adjusted through software downloaded from the vendor. This device is a nice bypass for when your stereo and microphone jacks are located in the back of your desktop. Simply plug this into your USB, update drivers and you're all set to go. It's like turning your 3.5mm headphone set into a USB headset.

this is a great usb device. however, setting it up is a pain if you have headphone drivers on top of this things software (logitech headphones with added functions). So choose which one you want to use and you are on your way. Great sound, nice cable length, added software gives you alot to play with in terms of how you shape your sound. All in all I am glad I got this for my rig

A Great, Inexpensive Fix to Motherboard Sound Card

After upgrading my motherboard and CPU, I noticed that I would get a high-pitched whine in my headset, and unless it was plugged into the rear audio ports, my mic hard a really hard time picking up my voice (no front panel audio for me). Seeing that people who had this issue could sometimes fix it with an external sound card, I decided I'd give this a try and return it if it didn't work. Luckily, it did, and I'm very happy to longer have to worry as much about tinnitus.

I had picked up a used motherboard and discovered that the onboard sound wasn't functioning. I plugged this little USB into the back of my PC and then connected my speakers and, ta-dah, it works like a charm! I've been using it for almost a month with no noticeable issues. Would definitely recommend to anyone who has a similar issue as I was having.

The problem is not the headset adapter, but my simplistic laptop. I wanted to record some sounds through Audacity using this adapter, but my laptop is not capable of doing so.

The built-in headphone jack on my laptop stopped working. I assume, plugging and unplugging thousands of times breaks off where it is soldered to the motherboard. In any case, The ROCCAR Juke Virtual USB external sound card was a quick, easy, and economical solution. The dongle has a 3.5mm headphone jack and a microphone jack.

My old x-fi sound card finally stopped working and wouldn't' identify in the device manager. My on board sound didn't' work . This roccat sound adapter fixed the problem quickly. Windows 10 definitely works with this. Be sure after you plug this in to go to the manufacturers website to get the software to run the full features.

I had lost the ability to listen to music on my computer due to a outdated sound card driver. Then I read about ROCCAT - Juke External sound card. It was the easiest installation I have ever made to my computer. Just plug the USB connector into your computer and connect the speaker connector to the other end and it was as easy as that and I was listening to music again while I worked on editing pictures.

I have been switching out my headphone speakers and desktop speakers out of my mobo constantly. To the point where the audio hole is loose. I got to stop overusing that hole or else it will be like throwing a hot dog down a hallway. This plug was the perfect alternate hole for my audio speakers. It takes a beating and keeps on receiving. The sound is good too.
