I purchased (not at Best Buy) a HDMI Switch where I can select which input I want to connect to my TV simply by selecting it remotely. It requires a HDMI Cable from the switch to the source. To minimize the bulk of cable that would connect between my ROKU to the switch, and my DVD Player to the switch, which all fit directly on top of the DVD Player, I purchased these very short HDMI Cables. No bulky cables, work great.

Most of the cables that I've purchased in the past (or that came with monitors) were far too long for my set up. These are much easier to manage and have cleaned up my desk. They're great quality, and I've since purchased a couple more of them to replace older (longer) HDMI cables.

I was having issues with the picture and sound intermittently freezing up using the HDMI cable supplied by my cable company. I really did not want to spend the extra money for a premium priced Audio Quest HDMi cable so I figured I would try this Rocketfish Cable instead. It was less than a third of the cost of the Audio Quest and has performed flawlessly. I only needed to get the short 1.5' length because it only had to go a short distance between my cable box and the One Connect box on my Samsung 4K television. I will be adding a 4k BluRay as well and will definitely use another of these for that as well. The cable is well made and connects to the HDMI output and input ports with a nice firm fit.

There is a difference in hdmi cables and I have found these to work well with 4k 60fps and hdr. My projector would occasionally go blank during scene changes when using hdr. After upgrading to these cables the problem iis solved.

High quality usb is the better way to go. Rocket fish products are good.
