So, I stopped by Best Buy and picked up this cable and sure enough, it works. This isn’t the cheapest cable, but if you need a high speed HDMI, this is the perfect cable for the job.

We have it hooked up to our epson projector and samsung sound bar and you definitely notice an amazing difference compaired to the lesser grade plugs. Worth the money!!!

My new xbox came with an hdmi 2.1 but it was too short so I purchased this one. It's the first one to be certified 2.1 and has all the benefits of 2.1 including 120hz at 4k. I've played with xbox and new RTX 3080 card and it gives me 4k at 120hz on my LG B9! It's so amazing. I would recommend.

It's probably more cable in respect to size of data transfer than I need but it should be future proof for a long time to come. Fortunately it was on sale but I consider kinda expensive. I was needing it asap but you can find certified cables for less if you have time to wait for one to be shipped.

You need a cable that can handle the bitrate and refreshrates that your device puts out. Tested with high end triple A game on LG C4 at 144 hertz with no issues and optimized. Big difference between average AmazonBasics and this RocketFish.

I used the ARC HDMI and connected it to a new sound bar. It's a great connection and works like a charm.

Rocketfish is a dependable brand and this is a dependable cable. The 8k Ultra High Speed is overkill for my use. The 2' is perfect for connecting a console to a TV or monitor.

Frame rates etc smoother than ever more than happy
