I have very good quality TV reception . I used it to connect an outdoor antenna. Be careful when you buy coaxial cable if you’re going to use it outside. Make sure it’s outdoor rated. Because I was bringing it from the outside into the house, it was necessary to cut and attach a new connector. There are videos on utube on doing this correctly. For outdoors I recommend a compression connector as opposed to a crimp type. There is a tool you’ll need to supply the force and alignment needed for this type of fitting. I’m just mentioning all this in case it helps you save time by realizing you may need more than just the cable.
