Works good with those wall warts as you can see in the image. I have second on the other side of the foot shelf. Please do look at the cable management as it is a work in progress.

The amount of outlets and their location makes it a great option for multiple bulky adapters, and the USB ports save me space for things that just need a USB-micro or USB-C power source - only complaint is that the power switch is very easy to accidentally turn off, and it isn't exactly clear to tell if it is toggled on or off by feel/look alone.

I have had this for 2 - 3 years. Yesterday I noticed the protected light was out. Now while this could be a deffective light. Having lost my TV, Audio Receiver, and Blu-Ray player previously to a power surge, I can not take this chance.

The Rocketfish 12 Outlet/2 USB Surge 4680 Joules Protector Strip is a strong contender for anyone needing to power and protect a significant number of electronic devices. Its combination of a high joule rating, ample outlets, included USB charging, and additional line protection (on many variants) makes it a versatile and reliable choice. While it's important to select the specific model that has the desired USB configuration, its overall performance and protective features make it a recommended investment for safeguarding valuable electronics in a modern, device-heavy household or office.

Admittedly I was one of these people that bought into the lies that expensive means better. I originally had a Monster surge protector. And it did the job just fine, but the expensive cost of it was all a lie. Hence many places don't sell Monster anymore. Most surge protectors are all the same. This doesn't mine buy some cheap beige painted one from a Dollar store of course. Thie Rocketfish one is perfect for most needs. You plug various things into it to deal with surges should they occur. If I had one complaint its that the cord on it is a bit on the short side and this thing is bulky. Though to be fair many things that plug into sockets today can sometimes be so big that they need this extra space.

    Worth every penny!

I now have THREE of these. They protect my most crucial equipment, like my 4K TV, wireless cable TV streaming boxes, gobs of Sonos speakers, as well as my office equipment which includes my cable WiFI router, network switch (power + ethernet protection), gaming laptop and widescreen monitor, laser printer, new 3D printer, and all four gaming consoles (PS4, PS5, Xbox One X, Xbox Series X)! Yes, I have some "toys." The layout of the plugs gives me room to plug in the myriad of bricks, 2-prong, and grounded plugs. We had a surge hit less than 48 hours ago and 100% of my equipment was protected. That could have really messed up my 3D printer which was in the middle of a print job! Better to fail the print and waste $5 in plastic than to have to buy another printer. I highly recommend these surge protectors!

The Best Qualities of a Surge Protector Strip

The Rocketfish 12-Outlet/2-USB Surge Protector Strip fills a need to protect my high line electronics in my "Man Cave", my home office, and rooms with expensive TVs . I have always made sure to protect my network equipment, TVs, stereos, computers and network-attached storage using power strips in my various locations, and Network-Attached Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS) in my office. If you are not protecting your expensive equipment, I strongly recommend that you do so! I would use appropriately sized Surge Protector Strip. If you are also protecting your office, I would plug the Surge Protector Strip into a UPS. Here are some recommendations and things to know concerning these devices. 1. A UPS is meant to keep selected equipment running when the rest of the house is dark. If you need to keep devices up and running for a specific period of time, size the UPS so it keeps your critical "stay up for x minutes". 2. If you are using Surge Protector Strips in areas which require them, there are more considerations to keep in mind. a. There are power-strips for sale everywhere, but they don't come as Surge Protector Strip unless they advertise it on the box. b. A Surge Protector Strip will tell you how much protection you will get from the unit. Power is defined in Joules. c. If (like me) you have owned a UPS and/or Surge Protector Strip, they lose their protective capabilities as they protect from lightning or other devices. Kind of like a catcher's mitt, which loses power from fast calls from the pitcher!
