Had to replace an OLD APC professional that "died in the line of service" due to a massive power surge when the power came back on (literally shorted out/smoked). Only time will tell if this one is as good (hopefully, I will never have to find out). But, it has decent specs., looks nice, was not too expensive, and they had it in stock.

I was doing some reorganizing around the apartment and was able to snag one of these for sale at $40 recently. This surge protector is pretty big but the spacing of the outlets actually saves space since I can plug multiple power bricks into this. Right now I have a TV, a cable box, 3 consoles, a sound bar, and a turntable plugged into this and it's given me zero issues so far and I still have outlets available. It let me turn 2 power strips into one and I wish I had this earlier!

They are excellent and a solid choice. Mine has protested my computers from lightning more than once. NOTE: It does have a single in and out port for ethernet. Your devices are not safe plugged directly into a wall ethernet port! Electricity does travel through those as well, so use this surge protector to add the layer of protection.

Worked perfect for what I needed and does the job perfectly. Very convenient and useful for home theater set ups. My only complaint is I own older models of this surge protector as well and really miss the light feature they used to offer that lit up at the touch of a button all the plug sockets and text to make it really easy to plug in or change what you needed to change

Needed something to plug all my cords into. Wanted something I could mount on the wall so that the floor would not be cluttered and I could be more organized. This fit the bill. With 12 outlets I have more than enough places to plug my devices in. Mounting was easy. Floor not cluttered any more. Office looks organized now.

This was a great deal and the product has also lived up to expectations. Obviously you can't ever really know if a surge protector has stopped a power surge from destroying your electronics (if it works), but the functionality of the product is really the huge positive of this product. The 12 outlets + 2 USB ports are great and make plugging in different electronics easy with multiple options. You also have the ability to run your network through the strip, however, I have as of now not done that. This product saves space and gives you the peace of mind for a much lower price than other competitors (got mine for $50 on sale). Others can go for well over $100. I trust the product and believe it to be worth the money

Power strip (rocket fish) knew my name and even told me, “I am the one for you.” I just listened and headed for the checkout! I got home and set it up. If that wasn’t enough —everything that I connected began cheering for me for the right product!!

First got an 8-outlet unit from the same manufacturer, which was a good purchase, but proved to be too small for our entertainment center. Then I saw they carried the 12-outlet unit, and that was just perfect for us. We got to plug our tv, PS4, Wii U, AppleTV, Dyson fan, a floor lamp, cable modem, wifi router, and a couple of USB powered devices, having surge protection and plenty of outlets for that. This is a must for current households, given the large amount of devices that require AC and USB power. So far, it's worked flawlessly, and last week, when a lightning storm hit the area, I was really glad that I had this protection between the electric company, and my devices.

Bought this as an upgrade over the 8 outlet one (moved that to the computer area). Currently use this for the following: 4K TV PS4 Pro Genesis mini NES mini Sony Receiver Netgear router Chromecast 4K player DirecTV Receiver Using 8 plugs, 1 network cable and 1 USB; the spacing is PERFECT because the minis have hugely weird power plug/bricks. There is still plenty of space for phone chargers and miscellaneous things to be plugged in. It's always grounded and protected, no drops ever and I feel confident with all of these nice electronics attached to this. Good buy.

I should have gotten this before. It has a slim sleek design which is very attractive and it has a one-year warranty! I like it so far because it can handle anything because of all the different types of ports etc. I plug in my computer, cell charger, and extra port device, It even has a place to plug in a phone. The USB ports are handy for other items. The cable for the internet fits nicely at the end so it doesn't get in the way of the other wires. What more can you ask for in a purge protector?

Reliable and works as advertised. I bought this to replace my original one, which took a major hit thanks to some early April storms that rolled through our region. I had to replace the Rocketfish ... but all of our entertainment electronics were protected! This is WELL WORTH THE PRICE! The only catch is you need to use this before the surge.

Ive been using rocketfish surge protectors for years. They have continously saved my devices, especially down in south florida we have a million surges a year from weather & crappy electrical infrastructure. 12/10 reccommend

This is easily one of the most satisfying purchases in my history of best buy purchases. I know it sounds crazy to say about a surge protector but this thing makes my life so easy. It works so well and the spacing on this surge protector for the outlets allows for bigger power adapters to be plugged in right next to smaller two prong cords. If you are thinking you don't need 12 outlets, get it anyway. You'll add stuff on in the future and then you'll need to get a new surge protector, just go with the 12 off the bat. When you get home with it you'll realize how many devices you actually want to plug in and you'll be more than happy you went with the 12. 5 stars.

I bought this to replace a Monster-brand surge protector I had been using since the mid-2000s. That one lasted a lot more years than it maybe should have. This one is far less expensive, but hopefully it will last me for many years to come. It's nice that this unit has more outlets than the fried Monster it has replaced, yet takes up far less space behind my home theater furniture! So far, I've been using it for just over a month and no problems as of yet. *Knock On Wood*

This outlet is great. Having 6 grounded receptacles in a row and 6 more situated to use with the always needed "wall wart" makes this a very useful item. Add to that the 2 connectors for the coax items and the Ethernet connection in and out and the 2 USB connections. And all of this is surge protected! This gives me pretty much all the connections I need (for now at least) and the price is pretty good also. I would get another when the need is right and I would recommend this to others.

This is one of the best surge protectors. It has 12 outlets that provide plenty space for wiring. It provide big spacing to provide for transformer outlets. Over 4000 joules provide plenty of protection power for really long lasting protect. It has ethernet wire and phone line protection. I bought over a 4000 joule surge protector similar to this in 2010 at bestbuy. That surge protector is still working today in 2021 going pass 11 years of use.

In the spring of every year we have alot of thunderstorms in our area. Had a panasonic television I phurchased back in 1994 on a lesser surge proctector and the storm blew the set in spite of it. Already had one television on a rocketfish and it survived unscathed. That is why I made another Rocketfish phurchase!

I finally stopped using battery backups because the last one crapped out after a year or two of use. After talking with the Best Buy rep I realized I didn't NEED a battery backup, just surge protection. This unit is low profile and has a very useful arrangement of the available outlets.

This replaced a different surge protector. The angle of the outlets allows me to plug in those large transformers without losing other outlets. This item actually has more features than I can use but I wanted the joules protection it offered.

I've become a huge fan of Rocketfish power strips! The outlet plug lays flat so you can easily put it behind a piece of furniture without that piece of furniture sticking out a mile from the wall. The outlets on the strip are decently spaced to allow room for those 'awkward' plugs that leave you wondering who thought designing a plug that way would be a good idea. I love the option of the USB on the powerstrip - more and more products lately are charged via USB only, unless you want to spend money on a wall outlet charger for it.
