I use a 2 outlet surge protector for my washer and dryer; it needs to be compact, which means the outlets should be on the sides, NOT the front of the protector. No cord needed. Rugged. Of course you need indicator light(s) for easy determination if the protector has not been zapped to failure, or not. Surprisingly, finding a surge protector meeting these simple criteria is not always easy to find. This Rocketfish product checks all the boxes.

The rocketfish surge protector has the outlets on the side and this is smaller and it allows for the use of the upper electrical outlet whereas others are larger and cover the second outlet on top. Has a nice blue light that tells you it's working.

Purchased this for my wall mount tv. It's low profile and hides behind the bracket very well. It's very simple and does what it's supposed to do. The added insurance is most important thing if you ever lost electronics via power surge.

I bought this to replace the surge protector strip I had for my older plasma tv. I did some upgrades since wanted this to use for my LG 4k 75" tv great buy for sure. this just fits behind the tv and wall mount super easy and easy to use.

I've had no issues whatsoever from this surge protector. Also, it allows the plugs to hug the wall instead of sticking out. I had two surge protectors plugged in to this to run computer/stereo/monitors/etc.

Works as it should and has never failed to perform.

It works very well. I am very pleased with this product. I can have my TV and Treadmill plugged in at one time and the power doesn't go out.

Great compact, quality product. I bought several of these to use behind several dressers and they were everything I was looking for. I was able to better organize my electronics, keep things snug against the wall, and know that all would be protected. Great find at a great price.

Perfect size for my needs. Just needed one surge protected oulet to power the TV. Like the illuminated logo that indicates surge protection is active.

Works exactly how I wanted it. Using behind a slim mount wall-mounted tv where I wanted surge protection without all the long cords and didn’t want it to stick out too far to push the tv back against the wall. Great little product!

A refrigerator repairman told us about appliance surge protectors. We didn't know there were specialized surge protectors for appliances. The repairman stated the slightest blip in the flow of electricity can kill an appliance. We found that out the hard way when our refrigerator's defrost mechanism blew when we just had a small blip in our electricity. It was a $300 repair, we decided just to replace the refrigerator...ouch! Also after we bought our new refrigerator and one surge protector for the new refrigerator, we had an electricity outage and it blew up our microwave! That's what we get for being cheap and only buying one appliance surge protector for just the new refrigerator and not the rest of our appliances!

I recently had a flat panel TV installed along with an outlet behind the TV. I didn't want to plug the TV straight into the wall outlet, I was wanting a surge protector to protect against spikes. I found this unit and it is perfect. It's so small I didn't have to remove the tv to install it and it works great.

Love how think it is to fit behind my TV, I havnt had a surge yet so I don’t know how well it works.

My previous one burned out so I had to replace it. This is a smaller one that hugs the wall so my flat screen can plug into it without any cords showing. The salesman was very helpful in helping me to select one. With the continuous light, I can see that it is working.

picked up 3 of these on sale - preparing for summer storms here in FL. Excellent review based on premise that the outlets work when needed! Hopefully they will protect as advertised if a power surge occurs. I like the side outlets so cords remain close to the wall.

Works as stated. Have not experienced any power surges however. I like how it’s lit up when power is applied to it. It’s compact and good for travel. I added a three outlet power tap and now I have three devices protected.

Purchased this surge protector for my wall mounted TV because it provided good surge protection in a small package. Plugs easily into the wall outlet behind the TV, fits perfectly between the TV and the wall, and doesn't interfere with the adjustable TV mounting bracket.
