I was tired of spending 10 bucks a month to lease a cable modem from my ISP. The modem that my ISP gave me was made in 2004! I took matters into my own hands and purchase this modem. I was skeptical at first. But it is humming along just fine. No reboots, no issues. Very stable.
I was hoping to get a little more speed out of it, but unfortunately, it remained the same. But it is still a big win (no more leasing modems!).
Try it out. It is a win win.

The cable provider could only provide a 2-way splitter. But my network required a 3-way. So I piggybacked the two 2-way splitters the cable company provided and it worked but had some loss of signal. Purchased Rocketfish 3-way coaxial splitter and now there is zero loss of signal. Excellent product and recommend it.

I know these used to display the ohms and some didn't work with different systems. This did not contain any of that information and it worked with our Verizon FIOS, so it makes me believe the different ohm listing may have been when there were both analog and digital, before going strictly digital.
I setup an office for my wife, she has a Television and I installed a TV card in the computer I built her. Everything worked perfectly with no degradation of picture quality.

I purchased this three way splitter to connect a cable modem, telephone modem, and cable box to a single coaxial cable. I was concerned that the three way splitter would cause a slowing of Internet download and upload times. Testing those speeds using a two way splitter versus the three way splitter showed no loss in speed.

Worked great. Just a simple splitter. Nothing fancy here. Not using it anymore because the cable guy had to come replace my modem and cable guys hate these things but I think this one was decent.

The cable wiring situation in our early 80s condo is tricky, probably because cable wasn't as big a thing back when it was built. We'd already had the cable split 2 ways to service 2 TVs, but when we wanted to add cable internet, I was worried--how would we make this work? Duh, a 3-way splitter! I got this one, easily plugged all the cables into it and it works like a charm. The picture looks excellent on both TVs. I'd recommend this for sure.

We're using an antenna for local stations, mostly news. Putting a second small HDTV in my den, we used this splitter to provide the antenna feed to both HDTVs. Some older cable and CATV systems may still be using older, analog TV signals but, since this works on the RF signal, it should work for those analog systems transmitting within the frequency range of this splitter.

I had to install this temporarily when I accidentally cut one of my coax lines while working next to the house... had to bypass the main splitter and signal booster to get things working until the Comcast tech came out. Given that we typically need a booster to make things work reliably, I'd say this splitter causes very little signal loss or I would've been dead in the water.
