    I had no idea I needed this cable because I got a new powered sub. The only thing to remember to buy a y-adapter if your sub has a left/right input. Other than that it's a good cable!

    It's a cable. I plugged it into my receiver and then plugged it into my sub woofer and it worked. Just like It is supposed to.
