My speakers were cutting out, and after switching receivers with the same problem, I finally decided to try thicker gauge wire. Usually, my fixes don't work, but this time it did! The wire is harder to slice, but with the right wire cutters it was easy to do. They were harder to connect to the speakers because of the thickness, but I got it to work. Anyway, I cranked ELO's "Living Thing" and "Mr. Blue Sky" and not only did the speakers not cut out, the sound had improved noticibly.

Classic speaker wire. It did everything as expected. I do miss the little white stripe that used to be on one of the two wires. Now it's very small black printing that is difficult to see when working in cramped dark places.

I paired this speaker wire with Rockit banana plugs which made the resulting cable easy to use: connecting and disconnecting speakers to amplifier. I found the sound comparable to my previous solid copper speaker cable. Treble, midrange, bass, it's all there with no noticeable noise. Just music. And the price is great! Not a rip off like some speaker cables.

great wire. But, Brian, a manager at the so elgin IL store said that I would get a $500 discount on my $5500 purchase if I just opened a Best Buy credit card. I did so back on 11/23/25 and I still have not received the credit!!!! Don't trust this so elgin store, and I woulnd't ever work with Brian, the manager. I will next contact the corporate office to complain

This speaker cable is just what the doctor ordered! I haven't been in the market for cabling, probably due to military service, government work, and as a contractor. I've been running around the globe staying focus on mission first. Finally I actually have the time to find items needed to perform the sweet sound of music in my home! with true quality, thanks to Rockfish 16 gauge cable! I didn't have to worry about the acoustics because this was what I needed and what better than to rely on Best Buy for availability..

Good wire for the need. I am not a wire expert. I always wonder if it is the correct wire when coupled with the equipment. Am i getting the most out of it or is the wire more than needed.

Got a good price on this Oxygen free copper wire. So many wire options are “copper clad” which is cheaper, but can be a fire hazard. Not to mention it’s lower quality. Always go OFC

This cable was the perfect length that I needed for my speakers, and it is very durable and resistant to weather! Perfect for my outdoor speakers. No issues at all

I prefer larger guage wire for my speaker setups, and this suits my needs well. It has a quality feel and is plenty flexible for its size. It provides a satisfying connection for the various banana plugs I've used with them. The only drawback is they can be a bit of a pain to split in two, so be prepared to have something sharp nearby when installing it. It can also be a bit tricky to thread into smaller speaker terminals, but a little patience and care goes a long way.
