I was looking for a way to connect my PS4 to a home theater system. After doing some research I found that the optical cable was my best option. This particular cable works exactly how I needed it to and was priced handsomly as well.

I don't know how I would tell the difference between one fiber optic cable and another, but this one was priced not too high and it works fine so I'm happy with it. You can pay less on-line but I was in a hurry to get it hooked up for a party I was hosting. I was happy to find one on the shelf - it was the last one.

This optical cable is a must have. The cable is thicker than the ones you receive with soundbars. I also purchased this at Best Buy deal of day so the price was good. 4 ft was plenty of cable for me.

Went to best buy to buy audio cables not knowing anything about them. The guy that helped was very informative. He could have easily sold me a much more expensive set but highly recommended these. Glad he did.

After buying different cables that didn't do what I wanted I asked the Best Buy staff what the would work for the sound bar I had bought on Black Friday and they took me rite to this cable and said that works best.

We bought this cable in conjunction with a Bose sound system and the cable seems to work great. I am not an expert on optical cables, but the sound system sounds great, so I would assume the cable is working well.

I always wonder about reviews like these,... I guess this one makes more sense than the one for the gift card, but just barely. It is an optical audio cable. From my experience, they either work,...or not. This one works. Since it is light that is being fed via fiber optics, and it doesn't really require a load rating nor is there a concern about the quality of the wire, I don't know exactly how to rate this on a curve. I have rocket fish for all my cables and all perform excellent and this is no different it's a very thick optical cable so bending is not a problem. Would recommend this over every other product I saw

Its a great value , paid less that the generic one there, was thrilled. It was only 4 ft but worked great and had a perfect pic on the TV and sound aaas awesome on the new sound bar. You can't go wrong with this brand EVER.

had another brand which decided to fail. Dirt Maybe. Rocketfish is consistent in quality and function. Might be able to find an equivalent item at a lower price but when I need something, I can count on best buy. And, I was able to buy it open box and save a few $$. Thanks BB.

Used to connect my digital audio converter to old speakers so that I didn't have to buy a soundbar for my new TV. It greatly improved the sound on my TV. The sound is perfect at any sound volume.

I have a Vizio TV and I bought a Samsung sound bar. I quickly learned that they don't speak quite the same language. After trying two other cables that didn't work, I bought this fiber cable, and it worked perfectly.

My only comment would be that it would be nice for the instructions to tell you to take off the plastic cover on the ends. (This would be for novices like me who are not well versed in electronic thing-a-ma-jigs!!)

If you are an audiophile and are hooking up to a high end system like b and w speakers than you will notice a difference. If you want much better sound than analog it will help your component sound great!

My sound bar stopped working and I was hoping it was just the optical cord is came with. I decided to spend a little more money and upgrade to Rocketfish. I'm very happy that I did. I've had no problems.

I could not get my smart tv sound to come through my surround sound system. Only the cable box and DVD player sound worked. Now, with this cord, it works great. I have Netflix in surround sound. Perfect.

I bought the optical cord to go with my new sound bar. The quality of sound is better with the cord. The quality of the cord is very good and feel it will last a long time unlike a cheaper one I bought before.

I recently purchased a 55" LG TV. After that I purchased a sound bar. It didn't come with a digital optical audio cable, went back to best buy. They had it in Stock! Hooked it up, works great!
