    When purchasing an item as this, I want something durable. I want to install it and forget about it. This item meets this requirement. I purchased one of lesser value 1 year ago, and after 3 months, I was back to purchase another optical cable. This time, I purchased one that was a little more money, but was also higher quality. I haven't been disappointed in this brand.

    For the Deal of the Day, this was a no brainer. A simple solution for the occasional snapping and pop coming from my receiver on an analog connection. I used this cable to connect my DVD digitally. A simple config change on the receiver and now the sound is flawless. Bestbuy is know for simple and easy solutions and this is one you can depend on.
