We have a specific outlet that we need this type of surge protector so that we can hid the plugs and wires. This has worked out great to reduce clutter behind this furniture for items that we do not ever remove the items plugged in. In our situation easier than a strip with a flat plug.

This thing makes it nice to plug in things behind couches since the plugs/imputs are on the sides. Also doubles outlets from 2 to 4. Works as intended, happy with it.

This wall tap worked perfectly for me since I had outlets that I needed surge protected and facing sideways due to being behind furniture. The USB ports helped as well since I was able to plug in my security cameras into them without needing adapters.

The outlet is on a wall by the bed. every time we make the bed we need to pull the bed out away from the wall and the lamp cord would come out of the socket. This plugs in and is flat so the cords are to the side and not straight out where the mattress interferes with the cords. Perfect for a small space.
