Seems to be a good quality surge protector with added outlets. The USB ports on the top are very convenient, although I fear they may collect dust over time. Maybe Rocketfish should provide caps to protect the USB outlets when not in use? The side outlets are great for keeping the unit low-profile when you have multiple cords plugged in. However, be aware that due to the orientation of the outlets, if you plug in a transformer plug it may still project out from the wall a good distance. I would have liked to have had one or two of the side outlets rotated 90 degrees so that a transformer block could be plugged in with that orientation. This type of surge protector will probably be hidden behind furniture, but it's a slick-looking unit - Not too flashy and clean lines.

This Rocketfish surge protector has done it's job just fine!! Have had no issues with it and for the money I believe is doing it's job compared to other surge protectors costing much more!! Needed a simplistic surge outlet to accomodate 4 plugs for our PC, lamp, speaker, and looking at others that had more outlets to offer BUT again costing much more, we decided on this one because we simply were not going to plug anymore devices to it. So again great surge protector!!

Best Wall tap surge protector in the market, I love the design, I attached the Apple MacBook pro the biggest charger on the planet with other devices, no issue. I will highly recommend it to everyone. I will buy it again if any deal will come on BestBuy store.

exceeded expectations for $10 sale price, bought 2, should have got 4, but price went up, so, 2 it is. Would not pay over $15 for this. I do like its build quality, design and flexibility. Most important to me was the USB being ontop and not on the face of it since it would ideally be used for tight fitting applications where the plugs need to be on the side. Its simple, clean, and useful. Very satisfied because of price point.

We needed extra outlets in the kitchen because I have our WiFi extender plugged in and it takes up the double plug. When we want to use the crockpot or the can opener, it is a pain in the neck and I got sick of listening to the husband complain about having to plug them in. This was a Daily Deal at Best Buy, I read the reviews, and liked the price. Not only did it extend my plugs, but has surge protection and iphone usb charger ports. It has worked great and we are all happy with the results.

This is a great convenience item. How many times have you had to move a piece of furniture because you needed to make room to plug in some device? This outlet helps solve that problem. It doesn't take up unreasonable space behind the furniture; and, more importantly, you can plug in one or more devices using a standard plug or USB cable from the side or top. I bought 2 on a Deal of the Day, and I am glad I did. Even if you don't get it on sale, the convenience it affords is worth the money.

I use there for behind the couches. Lays flat so you can push furniture right up to them. Side plugs make it easy plug in lamps on end tables or whatever. we use them for phone charges and run along the side of couch. This is my 3rd rocketfish one. I'd buy this over one if the cheaper ones anyday. if you give with another brand, look at the volt/amp. If you're using as a charger it won't charge as fast (found out hard way)

Having a rocket fish changes the game with the plugs on the side so I no longer worry about cords bending pushed against the dresser and the two USB ports help with my gaming setup with installing led stripes that connect through usb. It’s the best surge protector on the market. If you get this you’ll be happy you bought it.

We live in an area with poor quality electric service. There are lots of power flashes that can damage expensive electronics, so it is critical to have a good, affordable surge protector that can be replaced often. It’s compact and hugs the wall lessening the cord mess behind the tv. Unlike past surge protectors, it has no lights shining weirdly from behind the tv.

Good product to get surge protection, USB ports, and slimline profile all in one

We hung a TV above a dresser and with the outlet now up behind the TV, this nifty box shaped surge protector hides perfectly behind the TV and we don't have to look at cords running down the wall between the tv and dresser! The little blue light let's you know it's working but doesn't glare at you because it's behind the set. Plan to use another in the kitchen area since it won't take up any counter space!

Great little surge that I have sitting right up against my desk. 4 outlets + 2 USB outlets give me everything I needed for my desk. Only downfall I'd see is if you are trying to plug in a device that has a larger power block on it as this unit, being low profile, may not give you the room since the plugs are all on the side. You may have issues with the wall getting in the way preventing you from plugging in that device.

IT's far flatter than any other option and provides enough outlets for me to use to charge up devices (I even put one of these in the kit I take along while traveling). I'm very pleased with this sale price on the item, and purchased a couple of them.

Great surge protector with USB. Compact and easy to use!

Time will tell how protective it is, but so far I really like it. It is a compact size and the plugs are located on the side. All of my devices look very organized and cords are out of the way. I am not using usb's but it is a nice feature.
