    I bought this product because we had just bought a new washing machine and I wanted to make sure the computer couldn’t get burned out by a power surge. We like this surge protector because it has one light to show that it’s on and a second, different-colored light to indicate the the surge protector is activated. I haven’t had it long enough, yet, to know that it has prevented damage to my new machine, but it’s one less thing to worry about!
