    We do not have a good signal for our cable and have an amplifier through our cable company. This one is not as strong - but helps when ours fails while waiting for the cable company to come out to the house... it's a nice back up

    It's difficult to truly judge because it's not powerful enough to extend the signal sufficiently for Spectrum to activate the boxes in the upstairs rooms. But apparently neither did their "heavy-duty commercial grade" boosters, either.
