Rocketfish antenna amplifier -- worth the money
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have a very good outdoor TV antenna. The amplifier helps bring in a better pic. plus my stations don't seem to just plan 'drop off' anymore. Don't have access to cable.

Good to pickup a few extra tv channels
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a good device if you want to pickup a few extra tv channels. Also, if you are going to connect more than one television to an antenna then this is the device to use. You can connect up to four televisions and improve your video signal. Lastly, make sure you only use this device to boost your signal because too much signal may cause you to loose some tv channels.

Exactly what I needed
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I see this to split cable between two rooms. Before I got it, some channels would regularly become pixelated, this new powered splitter solved that and I swear the picture is also more clear.

Excellent range and affordable product
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I decided to try the local channels, so I bought a decent antenna and run the coaxial cable to a 3 ports splitter, but, as you can imagine the signal was weak and the video og my smart tv, just went off when detects weak signal, they are not like the old fashioned Tv where you still can see video. So I bought this Rocketfish Signal amplifier 4 ports, and I was pleasantly surprised. This unit allow me to see more than 50 local channels, with an impressive clarity. In though this item would only help me receive a few additional channels. Before I attached the amplifier; I was only receiving 12 channels with a very bad reception. I highly recommend it..

Signal amplifier
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This replaced my GE amplifier that came with my hd antenna which was fried by a power surge. Reasonably priced and works fine.

Better reception
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this because of recommendation of the Best Buy clerk. He said it MIGHT help with the minimum reception we get in our mountain cabin that is 40 miles from the nearest broadcast signals. We tried it since we could return it if it didn't help but it actually does help the over-the-air antenna bring in a stronger signal. Good thing with football season starting.

Reliable HDTV Signal Strength
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have done 2 installations with an “Antennas Direct Clearstream 4Max TV Antenna, 70+ Mile Range” with the antenna in the attic of a 2 story w/basement home (3 levels) and a 75ohm coaxial run to this Rocketfish mini drop amplifier located in the basement. In both cases, I could not get all channels without the amp and reliably pulled in all available channels after the RocketFish amplifier was installed. Very satisfied with the results.

Easy to use cable system hookup
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Easy, convenient method of tying in assorted cable needed systems to a master unit. The cord that comes with it gives the entire system a boost in areas that need it.

Easy to self install
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We recently became “cable tv cutters”. The signal was weakened by a long cable run from our new antenna. This item does exactly what it says. Two TVs working great. Plug this in and strong signal again.

Easy and worked!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Successfully increased my OTA receiption from an exterior-mounted antenna that is split to 4 TVs! I was hesitant based on past useless in-line boosters, but very glad I tried this splitter booster. I use the external power supply. I don't know how to determine if one of my TVs provides return power (and if so, it would probably stop when shut off).

Fixed my cable signal problems
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Too many coax splits in the house had resulted in a poor HDTV signal at one of our TVs. I had already used a similar product at the first split and wanted another for the second split in the attic. Based on the picture and description, it appeared to be ideal for the attic (no power nearby) since it can be powered by "power insertion" where power is back-fed by coax from a downstream outlet. Unfortunately (unlike the similar product I already had), it does not actually provide a power inserter, just says you can power it that way if you have a device capable of providing power via coax. So not suitable for my intended use (but I made do by putting this at the first split where power was available and then putting my older splitter/amp (which did include a power inserter) in the attic). However, once I reconfigured, I now have excellent signal at the TV that was having problems.

Helped with cord cutting
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Put in an external antenna to take advantage of OTA programs an free myself from monthly cable fees. Use of my previous splitter left some attached TV's with artifacting and dropouts. This helped remedy some of the problems more than expected. This was an open box purchase which helped a bit.

Great product
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Chanel's would cut in and out before, not any more with this amplifier. Got 17 more Chanel's that would barely come in before.

Did what I needed
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I needed to move the cable modem and router out of the bedroom and into the living room. Unfortunately the signal at that drop was not strong enough to get video on the TV through a splitter. Installed the Rocketfish Amp and now the TV has a great picture and the internet works great.

Did the trick
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Just enough boost to keep the signal strong without overdriving it. Didn't get any additional channels (wasn't expecting to), but did improve the signal strength. A little pricey IMO...

Works as it should
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It’s pricey, but not as pricey as others and works well. I had to feed the TV antenna to 4 rooms and couldn’t take the loss. This powered splitter is the next best thing to an inline amplifier near the antenna. It’s not an excuse for a weak signal, but if you have a decent signal and are feeding multiple tv’s, this powered splitter is the way to go.
